    My account is blocked for suspicious payment, my request is still under examination, for more than 5 weeks now. I did not make any payment I had just created my account... Do you know why it is taking so long to process my application? What can I do? Thank you.

      Yeah, the Google Ads support team has been decimated by COVID and they are having a hard time dealing with the flow of support requests. So, I'm not sure there's too much you can do other than reply to their confirmation email and ask if anyone has reviewed your case.

    This is incredibly frustrating and so, so very bogus! I do not have 2 Google Ads accounts. I have only 1, and used legit payment information, so their "suspicious payment activity" error is crap. Total crap.

      Yeah, I couldn't agree more. For those who are doing everything right, there is a chance that your billing info is actually compromised. So, if you believe that you are suspended for no reason, you can submit an appeal saying that your billing info was compromised and they should be able to help you get back up and running if your billing info was indeed used in a different account in a malicious way.
      If that's not the case, there's a chance that the Google Ads bots mistakenly flagged your account due to something they saw as "suspicious" which is something new that has started happening after COVID decimated their support staff.

    I sent an appeal and they still rejected me. Their support team is HORRIBLE! What is even worst is that the rejection email said I "STILL" violated their policy when that wasn't even the reason I got suspended. I replied asking what I did to violate their always changing policy, and how it related to my payment, and all they did was RESEND the same rejection email. It made absolutely no sense. They explained nothing to me and helped me with absolutely nothing!

      Yeah, that sounds about right. It's actually against their security policies to tell you why your ads were suspended. If they told you that, people could just reverse engineer their suspension systems and get around them. So, they do it to protect the platform but it's certainly no help to those of us who deal with this kind of stuff.

      Same here. Their "reason" is simply not given. I watched this video, which was great, and now I have an idea of what might possibly be wrong. WHY couldn't Google have simply said, "hey, we think this payment is being used elsewhere"? Too stupid, I guess.

    How do I fix this issue if I’ve never used google ads and it is telling me my account is suspended due to suspicious payment activity. I’ve sent them the appeal form multiple times and no one is getting back to me it’s frustrating

      Well, in that case, one of two things is happening most likely. Either, your billing info was actually compromised and someone has tried to use it in another account at some point, or your account got flagged by a bot for something it didn't like. Either way, you'll probably have to work through the Ads Support team in order to get this issue resolved.

    I keep getting the suspicious payments alert and when I appeal nothing happens, I’m told I still am in violation. I don’t have any other accounts with my card as It’s a brand new card. Could it be my Wix promotional codes?

      If they are telling you that your account is still in violation of their policies, then there's most likely something else at play. Your account will need to be in alignment with all of Google Ads policies in order for them to reinstate your account. So, normally there are some other secondary issues that are preventing your account from getting reinstated when you get that message back.

      It's a big problem on all of the major advertising platforms out there today. So, it's not as if this is only happening with Google Ads.

    I need help badly I've been going back and forth with google about running ads over 2 months because every time i appealed that took another 5 plus business days for a response that was not very detailed at all . I've even made sure the video Im running the ad on is completely clean ( visual and audio ) to make sure I didn't violate any of there terms and conditions .

    Hey,
    please help me I am kind of in big trouble. So some Indonesian guy got into my account, put in a master card, and now google would take every month money from me. I can't remove the payment method, I can not edit it or anything! I got all of his information but I don't know if they are fake...
    Thank God google suspended my account because they found something strange as you mentioned in your video.. but I still don't know if I have to pay and I can not delete the Google ads account or deactivate it.
    And the big question is HOW!!

    Technically its not breaking their terms of service - yep we all know that, but google choose to have no manners and act like animals towards people they refer to as partners - instead of dealing with people with manners and consideration - the way most people were brought up.

    This was very helpful. Thank you bro! I've been building custom ads for one particular clients channel, and this exact thing happened. The ads were running great! Lots of views, lots of new subscribers, then out of nowhere - BAM! Suspicious payment activity. Made 0 sense! But this is very enlightening.

    Hello, my account was suspended last year because of suspicious payment, and I don’t know why. I only have one Google Ads account and it was suspended after the first time I try to advertise my TH-cam video. I tried to appeal, but they only reply to me that my account still violates their regulation without letting me know what exactly is wrong.

    I don’t know what to do. I’ve tried everything you suggested. I sent them copies of my drivers license, credit card, credit card statement, business license, a notarized letter explaining everything about my account activity and they still say that my payment activity is suspicious for some reason

      Well, they probably said that your account is still in violation of their policies. Sometimes, even if you have shown that you are not violating their suspicious payments policy, there can still be other issues in your account that are a violation of Google Ads policies which will prevent their support team from reinstating your account.

    I have created New TH-cam channel and my Google Ad account has suspended my account, and whenever I try to reach customer service they ask to fill appeal submit form .
    Only issue is the time I try to submit appeal the page get hanged and I m stuck there as after clicking ‘submit appeal’ it’s always happens so in these case how my account will get recover ? I read many facing same issues at community post at Google ads .

      It's hard to say. I've been hearing stories of it taking over a month to hear back from Google Ads support due to COVID but I'm sure it varies from case to case.

      When you submitted the appeal, they should have sent you a confirmation email saying how long it would be until you would hear back. If it has been longer than that timeframe, you can reply back to that email and someone should take a look at the ticket for you.

I have not done anything on the account yet but the difference is, I use Paypal for my payment instead of direct card. Is that making a difference with their response?

    I have never used / created Google ads account.
    Someone hacked and created my account on 2nd of September, and today it got banned because of suspicious activity.
    I checked and changed my google password.
    Someone from Indonesia had added his payment info and added me as a user.
    I am a student and I don't have any bank account/ payment info. So both happened.
    Can you tell me what should I do to remove him and get things normal?

      I'm sorry to hear that! In the event that your account is compromised, you'll want to reach out to the Google Ads support team directly. They have a whole procedure that they go through when an account has been compromised.

    Hey bro, After two appeals I still have an issue with them and not opening. FYI, my acc is totally new, an no payment yet. The $20 manually canceled too. and even deleted two of my videos and checked my address and send them the statement for them to check everything is ok.       There are a lot of different factors at play here. So, it's hard to say exactly what's preventing your account from being reinstated without having access to the account.

      You can add new users to both accounts. So, just add a user with the same email to both the GMB account and the Google Ads account. Then you should be able to link them up.

      Yes, if you are advertising the same business but in a different Google Ads account, that will get you a circumventing systems suspension. It's not something I would recommend. You are better off getting the original account reinstated.

      Yeah, it's not really possible to delete a Google Ads account but canceling a Google Ads account has much the same effect, only it's reversible.

    It doesn't work for me, I use different card on different acc still get suspended. Already send appeal form it's been like weeks and I don't hear anything from Google. The worse case is when my team use the other members' acc with their own payment Google took like ages to run our ads despite of being eligible, and this morning that account got suspended 😭

    I can create a new gmail account for google ads. Its a new website and new debit card. I never use before. Once i finish all the setting of google ads after 2 mintues got a mail your account is suspended ( suspicious payment )

After reviewing your case and taking your feedback into consideration, we've confirmed that your account was and still is in violation of our Google Ads policies. As such, we will not be reactivating your account. Please don't create new Google Ads accounts, as these will be suspended too. When we suspend a Google Ads account, the suspension applies to the account owner and any current or future linked Google Ads accounts.

      @@CorrieSommers Ok, that's the generic response they send you if they review the suspensions and don't see that the account is fully in alignment with their advertising policies. That doesn't necessarily mean that you are still in violation of their Suspicious Payments Policy or that you are permanently banned from the platform. It could be that they have now verified that you are the owner of the card on file but your account is violating some other policy and until the account is fully in alignment with 100% of their advertising policies, they will just keep sending you back that same reply email saying that your account is still in violation of their policies (they can't tell you which ones though for security reasons).

      When you submitted the reinstatement request, you should have received a confirmation email that says how long to expect before hearing a response. If it's past that time frame, then you can just reply to the email and let them know you still haven't heard anything back. Usually, that will trigger a response but let me know if it doesn't.

      If you get the issues with the Suspicious Payments Policy violation resolved but there are still other violations in your Google Ads account, they will not reinstate your account. So, at this point, you may have resolved the Suspicious payments issue but something else is in the way. It's hard to say without actually looking at the account.

    Hi there. I created my first Google Ads account and linked my PayPal account as the only payment method. Then I created and launched my first campaign and immediately got flagged as being suspended. I raised an appeal, but they take their sweet time to react to it. I also have no clue what I did wrong. The only thing I can think of is the fact that I've used a different email address to set up my Google Ads account, to the email address that is linked to my PayPal account. Could this be a reason for flagging, and if so, can I change this Google Ads account to match the email address to my PayPal email account? And would that lift the suspension?

      Yeah, there can be a lot of different factors that go into these suspensions being that they are mostly being given out by bots not. So, it's hard to say what's going on without looking at your account.

    I have a question, i have two accounts on Google ads, on first one i started campaign, i add my credit card and then after 15 minutes my account got suspended, i only add my card on first account, on the second i didnt even start any campaign.     I just got this email and I’m scared. I finally got enough subscribers and viewers to get paid and got that message when I applied for the program. I filled out everything they asked and followed all the rules but still got that message. Is it because I don’t have any payment methods on file?       Yeah, with the suspicious payment activity suspension, it's focused on your billing card and billing address (aka your billing information) and less on the email address used the create the accounts. So, if you want to set up two Google Ads accounts, you'll need two different payment options such as two different credit cards, a credit card and a bank account, a credit card and a PayPal account, etc. Does that make sense?

      @@bryantstunnaentertainment7897 Well, if you start trying to get around their policies then you'll probably get hit with a Circumventing Policy Suspension with is much more difficult to reverse. Were you able to figure out why your account was suspended for suspicious payments? Is it possible that someone actually stole your billing information and is using it in another account? I would always suggest starting with trying to reverse your current suspension before looking into other options.

      @@MissoulaSEOGeek hello .thanks again for taking the time. I think I was hit with the suspicious payment because because I had had 3 previous account that had that billing system suspended.
      1) the first account for counterfeit product. Since I was trying to run an electronic retail store for a client who retails Apple and Samsung product .
      2) the second account was for circumventing policy after I figured out what I had wrong with the counter felt issue.
      3) then third was for suspicious payment issue.
      It so frustrating given u finally learned what you did wrong and when I finally built and proper campaign, I got hit with the suspicious payment issue. I really don't know what to do now. Since am not understanding the appeal system and how long it will take. If there is any way u can help I will really appreciate it

      Technically speaking, you're allowed to use one Google Ads account to advertise as many businesses as you choose. Doing so shouldn't hurt the campaigns.

    As such, we will not be reactivating your account. Please don't create new Google Ads accounts, as these will be suspended too. When we suspend a Google Ads account, the suspension applies to the account owner and any current or future linked Google Ads accounts. | This is completely frustrating, so I just followed your video and hopefully they will see the payment I have on my account is the same payment on the bank statement I just sent to process the payment on their end. Google is a nightmare to deal with in the sense, you'd think for how large they are, they would have a customer service number for people advertising on the platform. To send out this message with no warning or feedback before closure of the account is intimidating on so many levels. I will give you thumbs up, but hopefully they will reinstate my account after I followed your advice on this video.

      Yeah, that means there's likely something else going on in your account that is causing it to still be in violation of their policies. It may have nothing to do with the suspicious payments at this point, but your account has to be in alignment with all of their policies for the suspension team to reinstate your account.

      Yeah, their support team has been greatly impacted by the pandemic which has pushed them to start using algorithms to suspend accounts automatically. So, at the end of the day, there could be a number of reasons why your account got suspended.

    Does google ads accept visa credit card as primary payment? i created my first google ads account with my first campaign and not even 10 seconds it gets suspended immediately for suspicious payment. 50 dollars was added to my card and it was cancelled immediately and the next day that transaction on my card when i checked my banking app disappeared. the only transaction i see right now on my google ads account was "manual cancelation" or something like that. I already made an appeal and got a reply from them but they still said I'm violating their policy even though i don't know what i even did. google ads support doesn't tell you how to fix it.

      Yes, they do allow you to use Visa credit cards. It sounds like a bot may have flagged your account and you're correct, their support team can't really help with this.

    Nice video bro, my account too got suspended for the same,. As my card was not accepted to put ads i used my wife's card. The money got deducted, ads started and the same day got account suspended. I appealed many times showing proof its my wife account with same address as mine, contacted google ads team its nearly 8 months , I only get automated reply "still under violation:. Just want to know if i add any new valid bank accepted credit card and then appeal whether it might help? just asking for your suggestion.

      It sounds to me like your account is probably in violation of some other policy which will prevent it from being reinstated even if you verify your payment information.

    But my another account (Account B) is attached to the same card and i have purchased 3 times from Google store on account B.

    Hello! This was my first time creating a Google Ad, and I created a couple accounts just to test it out under the same email. I added my credit card to one, but then wanted to swap some keywords and couldn't go back so I created another account. When I finalized that account, I added the credit card again and deleted the drafts I was setting up. When I went to the page to explore my campaign it said I had been suspended for suspicious payment activity. When I try to use the verify feature or appeal it says my account is fine, but I still have the notification saying it was suspended. Would you have any advice on what I should do about this?

But they reinstated that one I think because they could verify our payment method. But now I still have the originally suspended account which is also cancelled.       @@katrinalo8624 If you have a suspended account, you're still technically not allowed to advertise on the Google Ads platform. So, it's up to you if you want to risk it or just try and get the other account reinstated.

    Hi, google had suspended my Google ads Acoount due to suspicius payment. The suspended account is new, I did not make any transaction on it, so I can not proof for Google any balance statment on my Credit. I have 2 problems, first that the same payment method is used on another Google Ads account. The second, I discovered that I entered wrong country in the Payer Details, I am living in Germany and I entered before USA. I do not know how to fix these problems. In the first problem I do not have any balance statment, and in the second problem, the country or Region is not editable in the payment profile.

      Well, that's considered an egregious violation and is going to be a bit of an uphill battle. Sometimes you can't recover from that sort of suspension at all. It really just depends on what policy was violated and to what extent. Do you have any idea why they suspended you for circumventing policy?

    all I did was redeem Google gift cards and purchase upgrades for dating apps and they suspended me which doesn't make any sense because the dating app is in part of the Google Play Store and still is. The thing is I don't have a credit card on my Google Play account yet they're claiming that I have violations of terms of service and I can't get that back which doesn't make sense because everything else in my account works fine the only problem is I just can't pay for anything I have a few bucks on my Play Store but cant use it for premiums apps

      If your account has been suspended for suspicious payments, then there's a process you'll have to go through in order to get the account reinstated. If you have one account that's suspended, you are more or less banned from setting up new Google Ads accounts until you get the suspended account reinstated. So, I would suggest not setting up any other Google Ads accounts until you get the suspended account reinstated.

      @@MissoulaSEOGeek I had filled the form quickly at the first time, cause I was shocked. They made revision and decide to keep still as suspended. So, I filled a new form, and I was allowed to add documents and photos. Thank youuu, I still try my chance

I added my company docs, credit card and driving licence photo to prove that I am a real person and there must be something wrong. They revised and reply that still my account is against the rules of google ads :( I dont understand what is the logic, what it he suspension reason and what is the solution 😢

      @@burcugurlen Yeah, it's against their policies to share specific information about your suspension as doing so would compromise their security efforts. As such, you just have to keep guessing at what the issue is until everything is resolved.

      @@codinginsight2715 Well, if you are going after the same keywords in two different Google Ads accounts that point to the same website, you will probably get your accounts suspended for violating their double serve policy. It's not something I would recommend doing, that's for sure.

      ​@@ahmedalzomor8404 Well, first of all, if your Google Ads account is suspended, that means you're not allowed to set up new Google Ads accounts. If you try doing so, the new accounts will get suspended and you might even get hit with a circumventing policy violation which is really difficult to fix. In the event that you do manage to set up a new Google Ads account, if they see you running ads to the same website as one of your accounts that's suspended, your new account will get suspended as well. Essentially, the website you were running ads to in the suspended account is banned from Google Ads until you get your account unsuspended.

    I did the appeal and it just take too much time, over two weeks... I sent again an email and the support on their chat and on the phone is not very useful... they told me I need to wait or to submit another appeal. they can't tell me anything besides that. my suspension become from suspicious payment to "Circumventing systems policy" and now they telling me that I have 2 suspensions to resolve wtf? I even didn't touched the account just played with it for simulation and learning the system.

      Yeah, their support team is very overwhelmed right now and so they are kind of taking the shoot first and ask questions later approach. At the end of the day, they are just trying to protect their platform from bad actors, and unfortunately, that negatively impacts people who are using Google Ads the way it was designed to be used.

    My account was suspended and could not fill out the reinstatement form because I didn't have a web page to add to the form so I had to type a make up web page, also I now have been waiting for almost 10 days with no resolution. Try to contact them .... It's terrible, it's a disaster, run forest run !! Unfortunately I highly don't recommend google ads. It's really sad. My time was wasted. You are warned !! Don't recommend it. No cust service will help you.

      You would just do that by running ads to the two different websites from within the same Google Ads account. So, just use one Google Ads account instead of two and that will prevent any issues with a second account getting suspended for suspicious payments.

      Are your accounts suspended? If so, then it may not work in your favor to change the billing addresses but in general, it sounds to me like you probably have one payment profile attached to two different accounts. So, if you were going to set up two different billing addresses, the two accounts would need to have separate payment profiles.

    Thanks for the video! This just happened to me today. I set up my first Google adwords acct. and ad (today) and paid the $50. As I was setting up my second ad (immediately after setting up the first), they suspended the account for suspicious payment. The $50 payment was cancelled and returned to my bank acct. I'm finding out now that I wasn't supposed to use "trademark keywords" in my first ad, which I did. Not sure though that that would have triggered a suspicious payment notice and suspending of my account? I think they would have just declined the ad?

      There could be a lot of different things going on. Ever since COVID hit, the Google Ads support team has been reduced greatly and now they are using bots to flag accounts. So, if the bot saw something that wasn't quite right, it may have flagged your account even though it seems like you didn't do anything wrong.

      Hi Phillip, this exact situation also happened to me a week ago. In my case, I didn't intend to create 2 different Google AdWords accounts. My personal gmail defaulted as the email account when I was creating create the google ads account. Upon realizing this, I switched to my business gmail. Weird though I didn't add my card information to the first account that was created. My ads were reviewed and came back approved so I don't think I used any trademark keywords. How did you resolve your suspension?

    what if i actually removed the cards from the old suspended account(S), and cancelled the Google ads account(S)?
    will it then work if i create a new Google ads account using the same card, in theory google doesnt have my data anymore.
    But i was always curious how does google know if i create a new account? Is it based on IP address or Device used?
    or literally it's based on the payment info you mentioned which is the name etc?

    I added the email i used for my google ads account to my paypal account (you can add them in paypal settings) and remade my google ads account and it seems to have fixed it
