If you can do it, get clothes made from linen. It is a light material for summer! You can also layer it. 100% cotton is good too. The stretchy, elastic stuff is bad for heat. I try to avoid polyester.

I think Burgundy looks good on anyone try a Burgundy suit as well as pants and a black dress shirt it makes you think of flowers so having a dahlia on the chest adds to the look a matching hat is optional but would look nice on some and if it needs cufflinks golden ones pop nicely with nice dark dress shoes it makes a look that locks eyes for a moment
