@@andybattise9575 - ah man! this is a good question my guy... well truth is i never really got too caught up with the process of growing up. for one thing, it's natural so being nervous or calm about it doesn't change the fact that you will grow old, but also, i think it gives me the right compensation for my fleeting youth: wisdom. this is a powerful tool that has helped me tackle my personal issues over the years, such as depression, anxiety, etc. i can now cope with and progress from my rainy days far better than when i was a 14 year old freshman, which i am very grateful for. back in that time i even looked towards this moment, because i didn't have the wisdom to help myself with my problems when there was no one else around to do it for me. it's been a tough wait but i landed right where i want to be, and i know that it can only go up from here, therefore i never did and perhaps never will look at growing up as something to be afraid of. :) as for graduation, welp, i never really liked highschool, so i was anticipating it since freshman year lmao. honestly, it's not because i hate the people there, or because of the early hours or the less-than-stellar lunchroom, but just because it's a place that promotes student freedom but then fails to commit to it. i can't tell you the amount of times i thought to myself, "damn, i'm gonna start a band real soon", or, "i'm gonna learn korean online soon", or, of course, "i'm gonna find a girlfriend soon"... it was all near impossible with the everyday demands of that place. useless assignments, disfunctional websites, disfunctional curriculums... all of that culminated into my excitement for graudation. sure, what i received early this month is not what i expected 4 years ago, but i have a diploma sitting in my living room right now. it doesn't mean anything to me other than a burnt bridge... this soliloquy of mine is def pretty personal but i wanted to give you a genuine response. high school is a lot about putting up fronts, hiding behind masks, and acting tough just to hit some licks but at the end of it all, you're getting a piece of paper with your name on it and "GRADUATE" next to it, so don't be nervous or scared about anything. def make sure you get good grades till the end though if you intend to go to college, whether community or 2-/4-year. if ur going to vocational, tech, or straight to work, at least keep good grades for a good resume. ;)
I would like to live in a world where there is only tranquility and peace, where there are no problems or bad people, where I am relaxed listening to these melodies, the sound of nature and being able to enjoy the day without stress.
I felt the vibes of the music, it reminded me of a time when I was broken, I felt I wasn't the same person when she left, I isolated myself and became friends with depression, but I told myself that it's okay, things will work out, I decided to put myself a top priority and treat myself well, I encountered a handful of great people that uplifted me. It's difficult to move on from a significant other break up or divorce, it takes time, but when you do, you will feel liberated. Love and treat yourself right, you may need to cut certain people out your life that bring you down. Stay blessed, stay humble, and have a great day!😎👊🏽

It’s been a while since I’ve commented on one of these. Months. I just need to vent some real quick. Why do I feel like my best friend doesn’t care about me? That she likes her other friends a lot more than she likes me, even though we’ve known each other so much longer and bonded so much more? Why do I feel like she doesn’t appreciate anything I’ve done for her? Some days she acts like we barely even know each other and it really gets on my nerves. It’s like one day we’re great and the next it’s just... not. And it hurts a lot honestly. Right now she’s off hanging out with some other friends, which is fine of course. After something similar to your situation, we havent talked in 4 months, only difference is i caught feels, and she said that she didnt want anything right now, yet i just found out shes been dating a dude she barely know for a while now, even though i am literally the person who knows her best. I dont really have any advice right now, all i know is that that feeling stays for a long time and it fucking sucks, but eventually, that weight will leave. Take it easy dude, enjoy the music.
