You are the absolute best of my rug cleaning entertainment. The fact you start with rug upside down pushing the dirt back through makes more sense. I’ve always thought though, that if you could use a grate system to allow the dirty water to pass through it would make your process easier. Just need to figure out how to create such a large, elevated grate system. I love your channel and watch at least 2 vids each night ❤

I can't imagine why some of these rugs are brought in for cleaning! Obviously they are not beyond saving, as you demonstrate but if I had a rug in anywhere near the state of some of these, I would throw it away!

Im not able to tell you how many liters of water goes on one carpet. We wash the dirtiest ones by hand, most are less dirty and we wash them in a machine that uses less water. The water is piped to the sewage treatment plant, we don't pour it into the river...

Weighing carpets would fail, they can soak up a lot of water and the weight can fluctuate depending on the degree of wetness.
