Shout out to Randy. A few weeks ago, I was traveling and checking into the hotel. Randy was in the lobby working and had this bottle next to him. I introduced myself, and he stopped what he was doing. He shared pours and life discussions for an hour. Kindness in the community, and it's more than just what's in the glass. Cheers mate and all the best!
Got to try this last night and I didn’t expect to like it because I’m not generally a fan of Canadian whiskey. I was pleasantly surprised that this was very pleasing to the nose and palate. The 5 years spent re-barreled worked really well for this juice. I’ll definitely be looking to pick up a bottle.
I appreciate that. A lot of people are calling this "Canadian whiskey", which is a much broader category than Canadian Rye Whiskey. If you think this is like crown royal...it is not.
I still have yet to try anything from Prideful Goat, but finding the six year bourbon is top of my list when life stops kicking me in the junk😅 Excited to put this new offering on the list too. Ah, wish I could be at that barrel pick!
Dickle BIB is between 11-13 yrs and 45$ in my area. Gets a lot of hate but I personally love it and the price is right. Looking forward to trying the new prideful goat. Love Alberta premium cask strength.
Generally really liked the prideful goat releases that I’ve tried but although not 100 proof may I present bulleit 12 rye which is 95/5 mgp at like 92 proof for $50 killer bottle and killer value. Not as much of a Canadian whiskey fan but this partially aging in the US is interesting
Randy, I’ve had one Prideful Goat whisky but I cannot remember what it was but I enjoyed it. If you had to pick your favorite, which Prideful Goat would you select and what number would you rate it? Great video and appreciate your transparency!
I tell people it is like picking between your children. We will never have it again, but my favorite was the 15 year bourbon. Around a 93. My favorite that is currently available based on the quality of the spirit is the 8 year rye. It is around an 89 or 90 for me. My favorite in general is the rum finished rye because I had the most influence on how it turned out, plus I think it tastes great. It is also around an 89 or 90 for me. My favorite based on excitement is the 12 year because of value, and I rated it an 83.
12 years old, AND it went through a double barrel maturation process? At $50 I would definitely give that a try. Any chance that Spec's will be getting any?
LMAO! I thought I was the only one that hated what Captain Crunch does to your mouth. I have your 6 year rye and bourbon and really enjoy them. I doubt I'll see the older stuff here in So Cal but I will keep a look out and see if some stores can get them.
Recently I have dropped my subscriptions from all of my "You Tube bourbon channels"...except for this one. Your channel is straight forward honesty. While you do have some fancy bottles, you don't just focus on those and cause FOMO. Keep it real and stay humble. We LOVE you as well!!!
I’ve tried a couple times to join the FB group. Idk why I keep getting denied. I see that it asks for your email and it is optional so I choose not to give my email. Can I give my email at a later date? Other than that I’ve answered all of the questions.
Facebook meta auto declines any request that isn't approved in 2 hours if they don't answer all the questions. Alberta Distilleries rye is 100% rye grain, not much misleading there. Of course like the majority of aged ADL Rye and most high aged Canadian Whisky it won't be available in Canada despite the fact I bought both your rye and bourbon in Alberta.
@@BourbonRealTalk Must be Evergreen Beverage Canada I'm guessing. Their pricing for every NDP or craft distillery out of the US is at least 30% over what it should be. I just wait for the inevitable sales online out there and then pick them up.
First full episode I've watched. Appreciate the transparency, and the mission. Would like to have known more about your co-host and what she brought to the table, er, bar.
I didn't say the first 12 year under $50. I said the first 12 year under $50 in years. Weller 12 was released in 2000. If BT released it for the first time today it would be over $100 a bottle.
@@BourbonRealTalk ahhhh I thought you ment like there hasnt been one available in years but you ment new to market product thats fair. Hope to get one sometime love supporting Texans when I can.

He’s the best like that!
Be careful...you might ruin the rumor that I am a terrible person 🤣. It was great to meet you and share a drink!
I recently found some Eagle Rare at $29.99!!
Can’t find for under $80 around north Detroit.
I just saw it in a shop in Brick, NJ for $89.99. Total ripoff 👎
I picked up 2 bottles for $59.99 at my local store. That’s about the most I’m paying for it. Plenty of $30-40 bottles out there readily available.
I made a stop in Murfreesboro TN and they had 8 bottles at $89 each. No wonder they had 8 bottles.
3:00 George Dickel has been releasing 11, 12, 13 yo BiB whisky for less than $50 since 2019.
i have the spring 13 year for 38
Headed to Seelbach right now to grab a bottle. Good luck on your sales.

Sounds interesting. It's great how transparent your are trying to be with this one.
Cool. Look foward to it. Haven't purchase a Prideful Goat Rye yet. I'm enjoying the 6 year boubon.👏👍
I have not seen Prideful Goat on the shelf yet and cannot get it shipped to Alabama. I hope to see some soon.
Nice work bringing the product to market. Hope I can find a bottle.
Hoping to make it down this weekend with the boys! We'll see! If I dont make it, Have fun!!!

@erictonn9976 have you tried the locator on their website?

Those Dickel BiB can be quite good. Not a fan of the older single barrels though.
Luv listening to info on Prideful Goat
So ready for this one!
Sounds like a great bottle thanks for keeping the $ down!!
This is incredible. Another awesome video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
12yr rye!! Sounds amazing!!!
The Prideful Goat rum finished was great
Nice! 👍 Congratulations on your successful bourbon endeavors. Great show as always! Cheers!
Thank you! Cheers!
I need to try some prideful Goat!!

@@BourbonRealTalk Thanks for such a quick reply. I will let you know what I pick and my thoughts on it! 😊
I'm excited for this video. I'll let you know how I feel at the end
In La. but have never seen anything Prideful Goat. May have to look harder when I travel.
You can ask any store to order it from Wines Unlimited and it will be there within days.
Nice! See ya Saturday!

Not available in Illinois. Sad!
So it may show up in the panhandle in January lol. I can't wait to try it.
KB12 was 59 until recently
OOOHHHH i like Capt Crunch.
Anyone know who he is alluding to when he mentions a company that has a fake finish with their rye whiskey?
Wish you were in Tennessee
Maybe one day.
Saw it at specs yesterday and it was 62 bucks, not under 50 😢 will keep looking.
Which specs?
Keller
Looking into it. At the end of the day, we don't control pricing.
Price was wrong on shelf got it for 50 and had them correct the tag 😅
@@jameslenaburg4378 Nice!
Dickel BiB is 11-13 years old and about $50. But thats about it
Prideful goat cask strength is a real banger…..delicious jooce
Well now I have to go bourbon hunting for this bottle.
When can I expect it to hit Oklahoma market?
My wholesaler has not put in a PO yet, so I do not know how long it will be.
Release to Nebraska please!
One day!
just snagged 2 bottles!!
Randy, will this be available in Frisco, Allen at any stores like specs or total wine?
Eventually, but when is out of my control. If you ask them to order it from Maverick Beverage they can.
Good video
Thanks
Nice! 😊
I wish this was available in Arkansas
You will have to order from Seelbach

Is this Only on Seelbach’s ?
It is going out through distribution too.
Ask Tater Tate if it tastes like oranges
I think it was tangerines this time.

Isn't Canadian whiskey generally solera aged?

Some people ship to a friend and get the bottle from there.
❤

12 year whiskey under 50$? Weller 12yr is only like 45ish when I bought it 2 weeks ago
That is awesome, but it’s like $200 for the rest of us😂
I got one last week for 49, good things come to those who wait.
But only 90 proof
