As far as I remember, there was a bug related to dropping LoW in forsaken. If you've been completed all Spinder bounties that week and claimed all of them one after another pretty fast, the gun could drop. It worked for me and all of my friends at that time
Watching this video made me realize how much I liked both The Pyramidion and Savathun's Song as strikes. While I understand that removing stuff was necessary because the game was becoming bloated and we needed free space for newer content, I can't help but be a little disappointed in some of what we lost likely not coming back.
Lord of Wolves is what let me do Shattered Throne on release just for the add clear in the final phase. Failing to clear all of the taken psions on spawn was the only thing that was stopping us the first few attempts, but swapping to Lord of Wolves made that very easy.

The thing I remember most about this meta is that learning I could get it from those bounties grinding it out and using it in crucible and thinking holy shit this thing is good why is nobody using it and 2 days later the LoW outbreak occurred

It seemed like you said twice that the Queenbreakers bow was a world drop in D1. I am certain those three weapons were only obtainable through the elder cipher.
