Good to see you doing more local stuff. I've never fallen down so much as I have this year, During a long lockdown walk to a local waterfall I slipped, fell off a rock onto another rock, rolled off it and fell....onto another rock. Luckily the river was low otherwise I would have been in the drink. Bloodied knuckles but no serious damage; sat up, laughed; then realised I'd fallen onto the 110 camera I was clutching and bust open the battery compartment. Its still lying in the repairs pile! Slipped on a dewy path even more locally and landed on my ass as well. Getting older....but no wiser!
pro me ....lol never, but thanks for saying.. i have been feeling they are a bit wishy washy... Had a look at the waterfall do you have to climb down on the rope
Great to see this Paul as we have done that walk from the very same lay-by you used, and now you know why locals call it "Cardiac Hill" ... so you left us as you were getting to Three Fingers Rocks ... there is an easier rout to the top from a lay-by on the A49 near All Stretton
@@paulcomptonpdphotography It's an "Easier" route Paul no such thing as an easy route ..lol .. I have a route map I can email you just let me know where to send it
Keep right on springs to mind, well done, there was some lovely scenery on the way, glad the weather did not change... Thank You....for taking us on your journey....
Hi Paul & Denise, I hope you do not mind me replying about a waterfall you wanted a location for on TH-cam, The waterfall you were referring to is called " Spekes Mill Mouth Waterfall " can be found on Google maps, you actually park at Hartland Quay on the clifftop parking area, not in the Pub car park below, start walking to your left and just keep going for a 1-2 miles and you cannot miss it, there is a wonderful coastline all around you as you will see, eventually if you keep walking further on you come to " Welcombe Mouth Beach " where there are b more waterfalls and a great beach and images all around you. North Devon Coastline. regards to you both.Colin.
Just a thought Paul, only use the postcode for Hartland Quay not any other, Spekes Mill has its own postcode but dont use it as it deposits you in the farmers Lane next to a muddy track, and there`s nowhere to park at all, be prepared to walk along the coastal path from Hartland Quay its a lovely walk not to strenuios , regards.
i am not 100% sure, there is a list on the loupedeck website, i popped a photo in the vlog, it says what it can be used on, if i remember capture was one it did
Quite the noisy things those little lambs! And quite the steep hike up that hill but the payoff seemed well worth it, what a stunning scene!! Beautiful images. And glad you weren't hurt there at that gate. Who says landscape photography is dangerous?!?! Great video as usual Paul. Cheers!
Hi Hope you were ok after your stumble? I did something similar a wile back on some steep unmaintained steps managed to get one foot down. But could not get the other down in time i was to worried about saving the camera 😧😧 It just makes you feel foolish and starts to show your age 👀 Keep up the good work and get the wife to give you a rub down with some lineament
