Faith has an insatiable desire for the word of God.
Faith demands and requires that we labour in the Word of God (You have to eat, stay and saturate yourself in the Word of God)
Bring faith to every fight (E.g. for healing, securing a job promotion), if you leave faith out of the fight you will lose it. (2 Timothy 4:7)
It’s faith that clears the promises of God to land in your life. Without faith the promises of God are on a holding pattern, they are elusive.
Living by faith is like travelling first class (Same plane but different experiences). We can be in the same kingdom of God but experiencing different things. Those living by faith distinguish themselves from all others (Hebrews 4:2)
We have to mix the Word of God with faith. Believe the Word of God and have an expectation to see it working in your life.
Faith is a process, there are steps for one to take before the manifestation that brings the will of God to pass in one’s life.
Steps to take in the process of faith
Locate/ Identify the promise in the Word of God. If you want healing zero in on scriptures focusing on the topic. Faith begins where the will of God is known. Don’t be emotional, you need to be standing on the Word of God. (2 Corinthians 1:20)
Pray the prayer of faith. Ask God for the promise you have identified in His Word.(James 4:2, Mark 11:24, Mathew 21:22, 1 John 5:14). Many people are praying but very few are believing they will get their result. Faith is not trying, faith is the confidence that He will do what He said.
Sow a seed toward your needs. We pray & give towards what we are praying for.(Genesis 15:7-15) Faith has companions and giving is a life companion to faith.Faith keeps company with giving, love and holiness. Give your seed an assignment. If your harvest does not amount to your expectation, make it a seed (Acts 10:1)
Confess the Word of God over your need. Believing and speaking in line with your praying is faith. If you pray faith and speak doubt, you are cancelling out your prayer. Cause your mouth to line up with your prayer. (Hebrews 10:23, 2 Corinthians 4:13) Faith is not a positive confession, it's saying the same thing as God. If you have nothing wonderful to say, just keep quiet. Don’t erase what God wants to do in your life through your tongue. (Luke 1:20), [Develop a faith confession: Personal , based on the word of God and in present tense]
Meditate on what God has done in the past (Psalms 77:12). When you speak faith, God tunes in on your conversation (Malachi 3:16) Faith starts by accomplishing small things before accomplishing bigger things (Celebrate small things before big things come)
Praise God in advance for the provision and manifestation of the things you are believing Him for (Romans 4:5 ) Praise God not only for what He has done but what He is about to do as well. It's a declaration of faith, that I will see results and walk in the manifestation of what I’m praying for. When I praise God in advance, I make Him bigger than my situation.
Have Patience. Faith and patience are powerful twins. Patience means steadfastness in times when things are most difficult. To your faith add patience.(Hebrews 10:35 -36, James 5:10-11).Stay the course: Start in faith and finish in faith. Don’t let go of your faith until you see the manifestation of what you are believing God for.
