Today . We are setting up a battery cage for layer chickens. All the parts mentioned in the previous video are brought together to setup a standing , and functional battery cage which is safe for the layer birds.
In this video, I also talked about why we use battery cage at a our farm and why we feel that battery cage is a better choice for layer birds than deep litre .

Deep litter is more humane to the birds than cages and that is the reason, in America, they have moved away from cages to deep litter and free range.

@@Ola_Ismail 💀💀💀 you won’t kill me with laughter. But seriously until their appointed time they lived humanely. Also don’t forget that they were raised specifically for that singular purpose. Indeed everyone is moving away from cages and into deep litter and free range.
I'm sure a vegan would agree with your, "raising them humanely to be eaten"😂

Each set of cage currently cost about 160,000 Naira now .

This can take 96 birds if you put 4 birds in each cage
