Love the 440 Series. I ran them for years on my 4 lane Tyco with a 20' straight-away! I ran hot armatures, stronger springs and contacts. I also re-geared them as well with Delrin gears. All while using a hi-perf. wallpack!! I found that by moving up to a larger ring gear the car had more top end and less spinning out on tight turns due to less torque at the wheels! Try them some time it's a worthwhile hop up and very affordable!!! Happy Turkey day!! Oh and Silicone tires with a dab of silicone to hold the tires on the rim to prevent slipping....

Hey great videos I always put you and Vito on when I'm messing with mine. Was wondering what kind of power you're running to the VRP?

Tyco 440/440X2 are VERY easy to work on once you get used to them. Been doing it for years. Have watched lots of utube videos and the vast majority are pretty clueless. Doing things the hard way and using tools and things I never use. Each to his own I guess but there are easy ways to do everything. Understand the "thing" you are working on! Q tips and alcohol? Never. Q tips leave fibers behind and alcohol removes moisture from the plastic, weakening it. See so many people doing this. Pliers to remove brush barrels? Another mistake unless you plan on replacing them.
