I have just watched this video exactly 39 years after this first aired on televison! And this is ful of great finds, especially the Cinema Six intro and bumpers!
Actually that dated back to 1969 1970 when it was WFIL TV that opening with various music cues continued till 6abc did an overhaul of their animated openings for their movie umbrella s in February 1985
Also this movie aired early in the morning on Monday April 9 1984 after the movie an rebroadcast of action news issues and answers aired followed by the abc news weekend report and then the classic 1964 visuals signoff voices by Paul Norton
They changed the opening sequence a total of 4 times after the original 1969 opening before cinema six was cancelled in 2005 in order for disney to make money on infomercials.
I remember the cinema 6 movie I actually thought it was coming though the TV screen when I was young...but seeing It now for the 1st time it ain't so scary as it was before seeing this the same year in "84" later that night before the abc news and sign off that I remember. This took me way back I also remember the big show matinee that came on every Sunday with changing lights....I think the big show matinee had circles of dots going in different directions with the big show logo changed colors with music playing in the background with a black background
The jazz organ theme of the Big Show is what we are all looking for , i want to know who recorded it and what year was it made had to be sometime during the 1960s Also the cinema six opening sequence dated back to the WFIL TV days around 1968 it was made.
@@vln2012 ok because the one I was was looking for was the changing of the colors with the big show logo moving up to the screen it was in the 80s every Sunday afternoons the cinema 6 I sure do remember with the stars
