I'm doing a AWD conversion for my 65 C10 however , I'm keeping the stock frame and I'm cutting the suspension brackets off and welding them to my stock frame and opting to get custom CV Axles made .
When I first installed the arms it lowered it really low and I think thats when they ripped. I lifted it up some since then well see how these hold up after power tour.

Another Thing or Things that can be Done to Control Some of the Heat in the Engine Bay is Heat Shield and or Inslulative wrap
Yes definitely everything in the engine bay besides the headers are wrapped with exhaust wrap now.
Do you think the cv boot ripped because the angle of the shaft? I'll be installing the same drop arms today and see how it goes🤞

What is the drop height on the Escalade chassis? I'm about to do this same thing and want mine higher than yours.
I believe it was 4 inches
