    Such dedication and so much precision in their lifts. Even when I make a good snatch with good explosion, I feel like they would do three reps in the same amount of time. Crazy.

    Apparently, they do use it occasionally for high repetition works. Usually just a single set.

    The Bulgarians use a very limited number of exercises, maybe 5 at the most, performed at very high intensities.

    You are right of course and I have a great respect for the lifters, but not the system.
    China is now one of the richest if not top of the list countries in the world and yet there are so many still on the poverty line.
    Lets hope success in the world economy will filter down to the masses sooner rather than later.

    These lifters mostly came from poor families. Sport is a way to get a decent living. They get to have food, shelter, and even education. Beats being stuck as a poor peasant any day. They are not really taken but it's one of a few options available. Like the olympic champion Zhan XuGang said in an interview, the sport school coach told him he would not be starving anymore if he go to the school and he said "I'm down, take me with you."

    @Sarge343 They probably just use it as a towel rack. That's what I use the hack squat machine at my gym for.

    The bulgarians focus on doing just the classic lifts during training and they go heavy. They'll do squats other than that but that's about it.

    They lift multiple times a day and they were selected for their mesomorphic tendencies at an early age so of course they are ripped. Imagine if all you had done between the age of 10 and 18 was lift 6 times a week.....pretty boring existence.

    you would not like to exchange your training or way of life for these guys not matter how successful they are.
    They are taken from their families, moved to wherever the government wants them to train.
    Only a few finish up with a standard of living equal to the west.
    Most people who train in the west train as amateurs, as you can see, not in china.
    Two or three times a day, every day, eat, sleep and shit, training.
    Most of them know nothing else, would you swop??????

  • @regard321
    @regard321 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Mmmmm, I wouldn't totally agree with that. You can't really generalize an entire nation either way, but there is a lot of arrogance and so on, but of course not all of them.
