Yes, Rio, it is genetics. I am German and Dutch and my wife who is Mexican recently caught a virus that laid her up for a few days. I didn't catch it from her. There is a serious lack of quality in the national teams and domestic teams nowadays. Id argue only the German Spanish and French team that won the recent world cups were stacked.
From watching this you might get the impression that Germany comfortably swept Scotland aside. It finished 2-0 but it gives the wrong impression, Scotland actually made a lot of chances and played very well, just lacking a bit of luck and clinical finishing. I bet Riedle doesn't remember that either.

Riedle was one of those players I just took for granted in the mid 90s.
Serie A teams were so staked it made quality players look normal in comparison to the super stars of the era
