Thx for your feedback! "FE" stands for Fire-Fighting Equipment, while "FL" refers to the Fire Locker. The Fire Locker (FL) can contain various items such as fire extinguishers, gas cartridges for all types of extinguishers onboard, spare powder, spare foam concentrate, etc. "FE" refers to fire-fighting equipment as indicate in this video (scba, firemans outfit etc.) For your reference, you can consult IMO Res A.952(23), which does not contain any information about "FE", only "FL". According to this resolution, all fire-fighting equipment in the fire plan should be indicated as "FL". From my side i can say that the quantity of firefighting outfits in the fire locker can be more than one. Therefore, stickers indicating "FE" (one or two) can be placed additionally at each entrance of the FL. I hope my answer helps you.@@joelalbarran7219
Your 3/0's duty series help me so much , i am very appreciate . I am study to become 2/0 , do you have any series of 2/0's job or do you have any intendtion to make it in the future ? Awaiting for your reply . once again thanks you so much :D
You're welcome, and thank you for your question. SOLAS and FSS Code doesn't establish any rules and requirements regarding donning procedure times. For example, Paris MOU instructions for PSC state that, "The firefighting crews should be observed for proper donning and use of their equipment." However, you should wear it as quickly as you can, with proper donning as a preference.
