    Hi Mark! I’m curious about your helmet set up and if you’re using an external mic with your PM100. I saw your previous video on it but was curious on your thoughts and if you’d recommend it.

    • @markallisonparamotor
      @markallisonparamotor  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm using a cheap Amazon mic connected to the GoPro audio adapter which plugs in to the GoPro. I don't use the PM-100 much actually, because I don't listen to music, but sometimes Bluetooth to my phone so I get airspace alerts, that's about it.

    • @AlexRobinsonTV
      @AlexRobinsonTV ปีที่แล้ว

      @@markallisonparamotor Thanks for the info. It seems to be that a lot of PM100 users are using a separate mic for their GoPro connection. I am mostly interested in the Bluetooth phone call and hardwired radio clarity. Appreciate the time, been watching a lot of your videos this week!

    • @markallisonparamotor
      @markallisonparamotor  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AlexRobinsonTV I've never had much success with radios due to interference from the engine. Phone calls also are patchy at altitude. It's a problem.

    Did you do this as a tour or independently?

    I'm MORE than sure you've been told, but if you ever throw that reserve, you're probably screwed!
    Just saying.

    • @markallisonparamotor
      @markallisonparamotor  ปีที่แล้ว

      Why's that?

    • @EvilBikerGangOfTheSky
      @EvilBikerGangOfTheSky ปีที่แล้ว

      @@markallisonparamotor Ignore me if im wrong but I assume the orange bridals connected to the bottom of your carabeners go to your reserve?
      If that is the case then if you throw then the chance of side loading the carabiners is very high and they really don't like that, and with those carabiners having a heel the chance is even higher.
      Tucker did a vid on breaking carabiners not long ago, I'm sure you've seen it.
      Fly safe.
      Great vid by the way, one of your best.👍
