This is my favorite Scriabin sonata and I really like your version, the way you play certain parts...great atmosphere, very sharp/lean with great voicing, very cursed 💯
What's also very impressive to me is that you manage to memorize such a complex piece...

7:37 - 7:40 , those bass strings were literally screaming out "gaaAAAH HELP ME", but she had them fully under her grasp. That is extremely hard to pull off in this sonata. 100.

    Hello ! :)
I love it ! The 6th sonata isn't my favorite one, I prefer the 1st, the 2nd, the 3rd, the 4th, the 9th and the 10th. So, I haven't heard much of this one, but the way you play it, the images of your hands from the top, the recording that makes the sound drop right-in-your-head, as if you were playing very next to me on my piano, is absolutely wonderful. I don't really know how to say it, as english is not my native language, but it seems that I can almost see Scriabin playing through your hands. Perhaps he possessed you when you recorded that ? :) That's truely impressive. I love how clear you play, clear yet mystic and mysterious. The 6th is not my preferred one because even if I've almost lived with Scriabin for years now (I've played and listened to him almost everyday for more than 20 years, I'm not a pro, just a very hard lover of his work), this sonata is hard to understand. It doesn't speak to me as the others. And the way you play it will perhaps make me change my mind about it. So, thank you for this wonderful moment, I'm going to lurk on you channel and see what other gems you have for me ! ;)
    W.

Brava! This is really quite astonishing. The last few minutes really flesh out all of the material and you deliver it with rare quality, color and integrity!

He had some interesting parts thats for sure. You play them well. I like your take on the creepy parts!
In this particulat piece i find his rhythms are not as fluidly moving as i would like them to go. I can't explain it. But it is great stuff nonetheless.
I guess he had alot of different moods and feelings. Perhaps abberations.

Thanks! He totally did. I think it’s the darkest and deepest sonata - actually stay tuned for some upcoming materials on this one (and not only)!

This piece is perfect for a pianist who wants all the challenge of Gershwin with none of the melody.

I’d say Gerschwin is not as demanding, honestly.

Why so percussive and dry? And with such limited dynamics? This sonata is all about mysticism and unleashing demonic forces.

Oh. Okay - thanks for letting me know, it’s very generous of you 😅
