Honest to god, I think this is what happens: a lot of immature people use League as a way to dodge real life responsibility rather than a hobby or because they genuinely have fun playing. So, when they try and surrender but their teams disagree they see that as responsibility being thrown on them and throw a tantrum by buying troll items to not get caught by the auto ban. They tune out because they don't know to go do something else when they're getting tilted from playing. It's not just league, people do this at their jobs and school. It's quite sad.

Master is the worst? No way. Iron or Silver. Iron either troll because "it is just a game" and Silver think they are good enough to be Gold or Platinum but everyone else is holding them back. Bronze and Gold+ are generally fine compared to those it seems.
