I honestly hated how the weapon system worked in mw2. You had to grind one weapon to unlock the other variants. Some of us just don't have the time sadly.
Not just that, but to unlock the base weapons which was a dumb move as a large majority that work more than they game end up with half of the decent weapons still locked by the end of the game’s lifecycle.
You aren't meant to buy 20 games and play only 3. You MUST play whatever you BUY and you must make gaming your favorite leisure time activity, otherwise, you might as well quit gaming and move on with your life.

That sounds like the "categorized" perks from COD Ghosts, where there are 7 different types of Perks you can equip your Soldier to, but you have a budget of points to select Perks based on how many points they cost. Example: "Danger Close" did return and increased explosive damage, but it costed 4 points of out 10 you could use.
It will be exactly if not worse than how they treat Halo. They just lost 70billion buying an already established franchise now they are losing even more billions of dollars in potential profits and revenue all because Xbox adults can't afford video games

Spawns and map flow were much more consistent back then which kept the gameplay fair. In MW2, the game spawns you right at the back of the map away from the objective or into the path of enemy players.

Sounds neat on the multiplayer front. I’m really only in it for the campaigns tho, I fell in love with the last two modern warfare ones. Loads of character development…and I’m here for it.

As much as I like the diversity in modes and team sizes, map designs and game mode quality often suffer because of it. Hopefully with the new acquisition, the teams behind these games won’t be forced to launch something every year or two. Give them the time they desperately need to make all parts of the game good, not just the campaigns.

They’re fixing the perk and mini map systems which most people think are horrible and need to be fixed, and adding legacy maps which are proven to play extremely well. They are fixing a lot of problems with the game. Hopefully they fix the slow animations though.

With Sledgehammer leading up the MW3 reboot with even less time in development, it's not good news. It seems no one knows how to make a proper Call of Duty game outside of Infinity Ward. Treyarch and Sledgehammer have horrible animations, audio and visual designs. Their guns feel and sound weak. Everything just feels like the Dollar General version of an Infinity Ward CoD. Not to mention Treyarch and Sledgehammer seem more concerned with making shitty skins and cosmetics for zoomers that are micro transaction addled zombies, rather than crafting compelling single player campaigns and good MP maps.
God I’m so happy for the acr and ump return I just rly hope for the campaign we c ghost have his mw19 mask like the skin he currently had in the background gameplay
