Hi Alex fluid now topped up had mobile dpf cleaning come and clean the filter after it was cleaned all fault codes removed and engine running fine but was told egr valve sticking took it for a drive it drove fine slowed down when I put my foot on the throttle engine pulled back engine fault came up on dash and the triangle came on turned engine off and then on triangle not on van drove normally for a while then engine pulled back again and triangle came on it seems when the engine is turned off and back on the triangle doesn't come on until it pulls back would the egr valve cause this because I can't understand why the triangle is not constantly on sorry to be long winded

As you said the tank has volume ca 1.5-1.8 l. (I personally measured something around 1.75 l) Why in diagnostic is the volume presetted as 1.07 l, in both ECU computer and also in POMPE_MUX_TI computer?

In my Berlingo and Partner 2013, 1.6 HDi, 92 ps, the volume can't be changed in Engine computer (EDC17C10_BR2), when I try it it rewrites itself back to 1020 ml after few minutes. In Additive tank computer (POMPE_MUX_TI) it can be changed but then it shows e.g. 175 % of volume.
Are you just filling it up? Because if you just filling up that brown stuff you don't need to take it off at all... just unplug the top part and fill it up
Hi there. Yes it probably wouldn't even start anymore. Now the worste part of this is that if it goes empty that product is horrible and goes dry quickly. Which causes the pump to seize up. In 80% of cases if it gone to an empty stage you will need to replace the whole tank with the pump and check the pipes afterwards as well 😞

Hello there. You need to double check that as they got different brands of them. This one was from eurocarparts, also had completely different from Citroen dealer before. So I would definitely double check with dealer first for your engine code.

My mechanic suggested me changing the software and don’t need fill up the liquid never again. What do you think about that? How will be effect to the emissions and engine works?
That will cause issues in a future on my opinion. They tried doing it with the trucks before and that ended up cause some problems. As far as I am aware it will be an MOT issue. So, my opinion on this is avoid changing software. But obviously it's up to you. Similar situation with dpf delete. I personally don't support that option.
If it just came on then yeah you should be fine. Just sort it out as soon as possible. From what I've heard is that it injects that liquid in fuel only when you put diesel in. So technically it should use any unless you filling up. I might be wrong, but that's what I've been told by support group in the begging.

Could you recommend obs2 scanner tool please so I can view others codes if i have any and to reset additive level. want a scanner that mid tier I guess not to expensive and nothing cheap with a few scan feature.
I will have a look in to that price range. There is a great tool from Draper for that price that comes with free updates all the time. Saying that It will look up all the codes and got special functions, but I don't think it will be able to reset the level of your additive on it. Need to look it up first

Have you got diagnostic tool? There will be either function setting to reset it or you have to go to live readings and tell it that it's full now. Some of them reset automatically as well.

Yeah I have to always reset that with diagnostic tool as it needs to know that its full again

Yes that can be an issue either with your injector, pipes or tank itself.
