What a nice looking little tractor. I'm sure it has been a great tool for the homestead. Keep up the great work!

Thanks. Yes it has been a great help around here. Moving snow and soil has been its biggest use so far. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Congratulations on your new purchase. Here is some encouragement: We have a GC1710 TLB with snowblower, rotary broom, and plow. It is now 5 years old with over 700 hours on it. One word; AMAZING! We love our tractor, I am religious about the maintenance and I can see that will keep it running, what seems to be, indefinitely. So happy with it, we also have a 2850e for some of the much, much bigger jobs we have. God Bless, stay safe, you can fix EVERYTHING else.

Thanks for the encouragement. We are 16 months into our homesteading adventure. This will be a great way to make major progress this 2nd summer.

Need a rear blade for more ballast and great for shoveling snow

We do want to get a few implements. A rear blade or box blade, and some pallet forks. It's has been getting used a few times a week for various things around the property. We are 100% satisfied with this purchase.

I had both rear blades and box blades and used the adj. blade much more than than the box. Plus they are much cheaper than box blades. And much easier on the driveways.

Thanks for that experienced input. That can save up the expense and hassle. I will tell Fern.

I would prolly forget about a snow blower. I've seen a lot of them bought but most people discontinued for one reason or another. They are high maintainance, expensive and the first time you run a mailbox or lawn furniture or find a brick or chunk of sidewalk the hard way it ruins your day. Plus I find them awkward an slow. In 1976 I bot a smaller Massey and rear blade and pushed snow for years with very lottle upkeep. A 6 ft. Rear blade will move a lot of snow fast and causes very little collateral damage. Just my experience. Probly the first tool on my tractor would be a rear 3 pt. blade.

Shiny and new! Are you thinking about getting the snowblower?

I'm sorry for the late reply. We didn't get the snow blower this year, maybe for next season. In the number of weeks since it's been delivered Dan has been working on learning the bucket skills.

I need one of these for my garden. We have two tractors but they are too big for the garden. Will this tractor pull other implements such as a tiller or a plow?

Sorry for the late reply. This will pull appropriately sized implements. It has a 3 point hitch and PTO. It's 23 horsepower and can handle sub-compact implements, including a belly mower, front snow blower or rear tiller. I think it's 48" wide.
