- People got way too butthurt on the last video. Here, I rebound my HOTAS controls and now I was able to get certain things to work better. I'm still not a fan of this bird. It's fine (minus the gripes I have with it), but it's nothing amazing in my book. To each their own I guess.

Possibly. Right now not in the correct "Mood" for it. Perhaps if BlueFlag made those ships a much more valuable target it might be worth it. We might try something out.

Didn't take Letherneck two years to figure out the bugs now did it? Nor to make decent tutorials for you to learn the craft, nor the fact that the manual was done properly off the bat. That's what people are referring to about the Mirage and it's really weird development process.

It's a shame people took it as they did, to me it was quite obvious with the way you were framing your video that you were simply frustrated at the time and needed a moment before diving back in.

The Mirage takes some getting used to. But it's a fun jet when you do, it's a nice place to be also. I like it and I look forward to their Harrier.

I like how you flew narrowly to the hills not to get hit by the BUK sam. maybe one day the SAM's might be operated by players, but i can only imagine the chaos that the SAM sims would do.

If you set your Decoy Program to "A" it will release just chaff. Decoy Panic Release will deploy chaff and flares. Decoy Program Release will then only deploy chaff. Both buttons van be found under HOTAS. I change the modes during my startup, while I'm setting my IFF to Cont.

I enjoy watching you play the M2000c more because its more close quarters. Plus for YT, we can generally see the targets better, especially since YT likes to dumb it down a bit more.
The F-5E needs two to four more sidewinders. If the MiG-21 can carry four to eight missiles then the F-5E needs at the very least four AIM-9's.
Onrby is the anchor for all of DEVILDOGS videos in multiplayer. lol

Juste one or two things :
- The parachute is only for emergency, it is not in normal landing procedure.
-The ID of an aircraft is available only in PIC ( STT) mode.
-If you disengage the masterarm and press "app" mode on pca, your hud will go on approach mode. The the IAS and ALT will go a little bit down so you can rise up your seat. You will have AOA cue too.
Literally in APP mode on both landings.... literally...
Used the chute on the first landing because Onnerby was slowing down in front of me and I didn't want to slam into him. Didn't use the chute on the second landing because I know we don't need it.

Mirage planes are beautiful planes... I would like Razbaam to make also Mirage III, IV, V, and 50, which are very simmilar...

Not really. I don't mind it, there's nothing particularly wrong with it, but I don't see why people have such a boner for it. I really don't. It's OK at best. There's a ton of things that I don't like about the module itself rather than the plane itself. But if I try to even say a single negative thing about it online, there will be an army of people who won't accept the fact that there is someone out there who bad mouths the Mirage and will start to sharpen their pitchforks and light their torches. I personally just couldn't care more or less about it.
A Spanish TH-camr made a video about all DCS DLCs. He talked about what he thought about Razbaam, and the guys doing C-101. As both are Spanish Speaking companies, he believes that most people are not willing to speak against them. Razbaam is a company from Ecuador, and nobody can expect something well done from this country. Well, this is something that must change, not for being from a South American country you have to do things wrong. And if you do, you have to be criticised (constructively), so as you fix what you did wrong. He is even harder with the guys doing C-101. Hope all these DLC come to a good end, even Hawk's DLC...
But being critic doesn't mean that you don't like it at all. Today, other Spanish TH-camr, have done his final video about Mirage 2000, for the Mirage 2000 school at Escuadron 111. He says that although the DLC has a lot of bugs, he will buy it again...
The fear comes from AV-8B Harrier DLC, will it stop Mirage 2000 developement?
ralfidude I love the mirage personally but I also like hearing people voice their opinions about the module as well. One of the few I guess with a open mind. Loved the video and keep up the great work with the channel!
I'd actually really like to hear what you dislike about the module. Personally my biggest complaints are the stupidly short range of the Magic IIs and fairly inconsistent radar, though that may be on my end. Other than that and a couple minor things I really enjoy flying it. I do hate being limited to 4 missiles though.
people like it because atm its the only 4th generation full fidelity module . Some people get bored ( understandably) of simplified FC3 aircraft (given DCS nature as a Study grade sim). , even if they are more higher tech and more capable air frames for air superiority role within FC3 like the su27 or the F15C. If you judge a plane simply by its tech, and how efficient it is in combat then sure the M2K is nothing special given its lighter early 4th generation era airframe ( more comparable to F16A and Mig29 in capabilities) >, thus falls short of something like the F15C or 21st century updated multirole fighter like the F/A18C Lot 20, but then tech wise certainly better than a aircraft from the 3rd gen such as the Mig21bis or F5E.
Asa module the only feature missing IIRC is the A/G radar mapping mode. ( but nothing razbam can do there until Hornet releases)
For a development team of just 4 people ,Razbam has a done a pretty good job especially given the M2K is thier first module for DCS. They are not green developers however. Thier modules for FSX were pretty well regarded.
you should do some multirole in the mirage! that's the really cool part of this plane, first fighter capable of (kind of effectively) dropping bombs

4:01 quick tip- the gear on the mirage create more drag than a gay pride festival, so try lowering them a bit earlier instead of doing a body break as this will result in a lot less tears from the crew chief! love your videos keep up the good shit!

just use boresight when you have the target visually in front of you.

The small square is a lead calculation. If you manoeuvre it into the ASEC, it helps taking lead. Higher Pk! Nice flying.

So I stopped playing DCS quite a while ago for a really annoying reason, so whenever I join servers it takes like 10m and sometimes it'll say I timed out and won't even let me join, IF I do get in and I spawn in my aircraft, I have to do a full 360 lookaround in my aircraft before I start moving, because(I'm guessing) none of the resources around me loaded, and so if I don't and I look around in the middle of the flight, the game freezes up for about 5 seconds, sometimes the game freezes up out of nowhere and it leads me to crash into a mountain or whatever, I am assuming it is because I only have 8GB of RAM and DCS has a memory leak issue, but I also have a 3.5GHz 8 core proccessor, and a GTX 950. If anyone could help me out, thanks! Great video again by the way ralfi.

Not every aircraft can be super duper cool and amazing to fly. There are going to be duds. The Mirage 2000 just isn't a great aircraft, that's all there is to it. It's not very fun to fly and it's not very capable. Some people need to get off their high horse and stop trying to be niche and different by forcing themselves to like something they don't actually like, and getting mad at others for not liking what they "like"
When you have aircraft like the F-14/16/18, and then the Mirage. It's no competition. HUGE difference. Even if you started with the Mirage and went to one of those, you'd like them better and realize how far behind the Mirage is.
What don't you like about this plane? I don't get it. The f15 is indeed superior, but you're flying a arcade plane vs sim planes...

My impression is that while the M2000 looks very elegant but old style, it's radar and HUD systems, appear much more sophisticated and elegant then the F15 ones, who are very basic in my opinion but better in quick battle decisions....
Guess its just a matter of getting used to both.
Just hope that the F35`s have push&ready" cockpits, cause until an F18 or Mirrage get warmed up, the bandits went by by

Interesting, none of the guys I know who fly it in DCS has had an issue with SAMs and AMRAAMs when using it correctly.
M2000C was build for that in 1980s. AIM120 is kinda decade later. In in 1990s/modern scenario M2000C is simply outdated. If F15 had aim7s then u could fly higher with much better chance of success
I thought the Mirage IIIs were designed as interceptors. The M2000 is multirole and manoeuvrable, right?
What jets were initially designed for, and how they can be used
effectively in the DCS environment are sadly two different things.
The sad reality is that you're most likely not gonna leave a fight with a 4
ship F15 flight alive when you try to keep an altitude of 30 000ft.
They're carrying 30 active homing missiles, while your 4 mirages are
carrying less than half of number, and semi active or heater missiles at
that.
Its just not really 'competative' unless you're on a cold war loadouts only server or something.
Is it fun? Sure
Can you survive in it? Sure
Can you get kills? Heck yeah
The same can be said about the Mig-21, though.
