Back in the day, when I had a mohawk... and a full head of hair, I would use a combination of sugar water and aqua-net hairspray.

Make sure to use the gel kind if he has dark hair and the white pasty kind if he has light hair. If he has vivid hair gel works best too.
LOL. Toothpaste in the hair guidelines. Who would have though?

I've heard of motor oil, egg whites and even Elmer's glue being used. Personally I prefer using hairspray :p
