@herovibes NG+10 - what you said at 1:12 is exactly why. If you want the best armor in the game, it’s comes at NG+10. Since everything is reset once you go through Starborn portal, I see no point in investing in anything until you hit the end, then build your outposts, ships, customize weapons, build relationships, etc. etc.
@@vfgdfg lol oh naw it’s not a big deal for me at all I’m getting everything I got last game faster this go around lol it’s just like damn what did I miss you know
I just started ng+ for the first time today. Something odd I noticed. When you are looking at the various outcomes of your actions in your universe. The remaining members of Constellation are sitting at the table. When you approach yourself tells you what they eventually do. Walter Stroud is watching you the entire time. No one else reacts to you at all but he will turn his head and everything just watching you like he is seeing you. Whats up with that? Anything? Quark seems to know things lol
couple of tips for ng+ -the lodge basement has weapon racks on the wall that scale based on your level so level 40+ you can probably find advanced weapons every time which is more than enough for the final fight. -geology + elemental pull power work together well, max level geology lets you get rare resources any time you get regular resources(+a chance at double resources) and elemental pull lets you gather all resources in a wide area. So ng+ you can mass mine while running around doing missions or just running temples. It's also handy for getting all the resources from the artifact caverns instantly.
I'm so confused about ng+ I was level 65 before I started the constellation quest and it ended so damn fast. I only have 2 starborn powers and I don't know what to do.. .. is there a "final boss" now in ng+ I have to be leveled up for? Is it in constellation quest or do I have to find "the temples" and how do I find all the temples to get the starborn powers?
For NG+ did your progress in research for weapon mods and out post carry over, or do you have to research them again? I've been trying to hold off on NG+ to knock these out.
Save just before entering the Unity - your Starborn suit can be re-rolled this way, allowing you to get stats like Weapon Holsters which can really help making credits early on in NG+. Simply check the suit stats when you load in and reload if you don't get what you want. I got Holsters, Anti Ballistic, and Sentinel after only 30min of reloading. Not everyone likes save scumming, but for your final run at least I think having the stats you want is nice.
Not sure about watching this. I stopped up until 5am to finally finish the One Giant Leap mission, after a 250 hour playthrough. After watching the credits roll, I find myself in a new ship, in a new Universe and I am Starborn. It's put me at the point in the game after having just left Barrett for the first time and I have the Frontier as one of my ships. Kept my skills, but nothing else.
Really good video. Starfield is without a shadow of doubt, the greatest game ever made. Great, not simply because of the sheer scale and replayability, but great because of the quality of the locations, the characters and the staggering story behind it. Bethesda truly are in a class of their own when it comes to story-telling and character development.
Imo, the most efficient way to play would be to get all artifacts, finish the main quest, then 1st NG+. Repeatedly get all artifacts and NG+ until powers are level 10 while experiencing the NG+ content. Then, build your ship, choose a planet for your home base, planets for your outposts, choose a home, work towards both of those goals while playing all quests and building up your galactic empire. Sprinkle in some leveling and shenanigans at your leisure. That's my plan anyway. I'm almost done tinkering with my Razorleaf turret battleship and have started the Main to begin collecting artifacts.
One thing I just discovered: I wish I had done the Ryujin questline earlier and gotten that reward before doing NG+ (it's the only faction reward that carries into the next NG+'s
That kind of New Game+ reminds me of an old series called Sliders, where a group of friends travelled between different dimensions. If Starfield could randomize that for every universe i.e. In for example NG+ 2 Freestar Collective would rule New Atlantis and UC would be almost extinct being only on few small planets trying to survive. NG+ 3 Creemson Fleet ruling the known galaxy, NG+ 4 corporations ruling everything etc. Maybe that new dlc - Shattered Space will introduce something like that
I loved Sliders as a kid. I remember the episode where at the end, it was revealed that they made it home only to leave because the gate that used to squeaked had been oiled so it no longer squeaked.
@@justincarnes1656 I remember that episode clearly. I was so angry that they missed the guy who repaired it by few seconds. They would finally be back home, but the show would have ended, so I understand why it was done like that
Everyone says oh nothing carries to ng+ you lose everything and everyone but if you get those quest on random planets that you have to carry miners to another planet or location those fackers will still be there in your ship even when you enter ng+ 😂😂.
5:15 This game has been out for 8 months now, and *THIS* is the first video that mentions taking a "Third Option" on the "Sadistic Choice". Thank you, Vibes. You truly are my Hero.
I did my first universe as a scoundrel with a heart of gold. After losing Barrett and discovering the unity, I have become a pirate and something of a jaded person. Next universe I will try to make up for my misdeeds in this one but for now I bring chaos to everything around me.
The achievement for going to every system is not reset at NG+. I got it after when I went to a random system I couldn’t find on my first play through .
Meh. As someone who 3d models for a living I was relieved my baby got killed. Now I can start fresh without guilt lol. Gonna build the rocinante from the expanse me thinks
I am going to do NG+ 10 and play one faction each playthrough! For me it is separate lives for each universe. Like they did in several Stargate episodes!
I personally think that's the better way, just grinding ng+ is a real drag, i played out most faction and quests in my 1st run so i've only got a couple left i haven't done and i'm saving those for ng7/8 to break it up.
I just hit new game plus because I didn't think the story was that short, I was level 33.. I'm going to treat this playthrough to do everything though!
Honestly not rushing into NG+, Want to work my way through as much as I can first. The Starborn ship looks woefully underpowered to me and seems like something I'd want to swap out as soon as possible. I don't see the losing most things as a major drawback though, Jacking a better ship won't be an issue, I'm not interested in outpost building beyond a basic level, and credits are pretty easy to come by if you know where to look. One QOL I'd like to see sooner rather than later is the ability to be able to blueprint ship builds so you can easily recreate them once you jump into NG+ but that might take a while as I play on Xbox X and it looks like we won't be getting mod support until early 2024.
Starborn ship does suck, ng+6 ship barely becomes useful at max level, the ng+ suit also gets op at about level 5-6 in that its base stats start to become more powerful than anything you can find and modify which means it takes half the looting fun away. While yes you can have 3 pieces worth of legendary effects vs 1 it doesn't mean much vs the base raw protection it provides.
I feel the same way, rushing 10 rounds of NG+ just seems like an arduous chore, and all just to get the best gear and powers most “efficiently”. I feel like you miss out not taking in all the different events in each NG+ universe by doing that and missing the main narrative point of NG+.
Great Video! I think that doing NG+ is probably the best after all the DLCs have been released, since maybe they add alternate Universes in them and also additional Dialogue options after completing them
I on NG+5 now, and just got grownup cora coe ambushing me in the lodge saying 'you'll pay for what you did to my dad!' Because he died in my 1st playthrough. That shit was fucking awesome.
Actually that has nothing to do with letting Sam die. Starting with NG+2, the game rolls for a 1 in 100 chance of spawning you in one of 10 different Constellation variants. Sometimes the Hunter killed everyone. Sometimes "You" killed everyone. Sometimes Constellation is made up of multiple versions of "You". Sometimes Vasco shows up with the "You" from that universe. Sometimes Sarah is a potted plant. 🤪
Just started my second NG+ and chose the skip option will say it really helps if you no joke want to skip to the next NG+ like me for purely aesthetic reasons. Lol. I am curious on playing without skipping then revealing halfway through. I assume like some of the mission is basically like a mini skip. Will say the loot each time is different on my 3rd play through it is hot garbage but might be that I was it has me collecting the artifacts in one swoop currently. Unless it’s an actual building the caves have been empty so it’s literally run in and out. Another thing I noticed was the difference in companion dialogue. 1st go I went with best girl, Andreja, and anytime I talked to Sarah about half way through there was a flirt option. Never used her as my companion other than the first part of the main story but was there and was actually flirty not cringy. 2nd time I focused on Sarah and it was not there. Kept getting pushed away
Yeah, rushing NG+ is a personal thing really. I noobed my way through the first playthrough, but avoided the faction quests. Just main story and some side stuff. Then, once I discovered I got something for NG+, I looked into it, then I rushed to NG+10 for that last thing. I wouldn't say it was the most fun, although there was some enjoyment in learning how to do things more quickly. I'm super happy I did it though. When I was in NG+10, I had a bunch of powers up to a decent, usable level and a ton (basically all) the faction and side quest content to enjoy and use those cool toys. I'd personally hate to put effort into levelling that stuff and having nothing new/fresh to do with it.
I personally used the 1st playthrough to learn all the mechanics and unlock all the powers...I will now speedrun to ng+10 and level all my favorite powers...I will then use my ng+10 like a fresh character and restart the main quest from scratch...I will make this my home...
Ng+3 at lvl 60. Doing a major faction each ng+. Did martials with +2 and Nuegin with +3, next is +4 and I'll be doing uc vanguard. Crimson fleet at +5.
Been playing since early access. still on my first play through and just started outposts 🤣 ...i've taken my time and in no rush, want to do all the side quests before moving on to NG+
grinded all the NG+ benefits. I enjoyed it, kind of like learning to speedrun the game to shave off time each run, but I wouldn't recommend because its a massive time sink. I kind of wish the powers only went to 5 or 6 and the ship and suit to 10. That way the last few runs would get shorter so it would feel like approaching a singularity
I’ve been split about whether or not I should rush NG+ or not, or enjoy my first play through and then NG+ without the abridged version and see how I feel about the game from there. Grinding NG+ doesn’t sound enjoyable at all.
@@juliusd.2541 i started NG+ but ended up going back to my pre-NG+ save for a while to enjoy my powerful ship and weapons as well as level up some skills that are useful to NG+ (stuff like rejuvenate, weapons design and commerce) before diving back into it. I definitely recommend enjoying your first playthrough thoroughly, especially if your planning on doing 10 NG+ which can take about 30 hours if you go for all level ten powers.
I'm very split with rushing the main quest for new people, yes NG+ is part of the main story and in my eyes the game doesn't really start until new game+. but it hits different if you play through the whole game not knowing you're gonna say goodbye plus you would have to to all the missions to get the special dialogue. it'd hit different if you didn't know.
I’m on NG+3. Got the universe where an alternate me killed Constellation & Sarah died in front of me. So I took her clothes lol ran to the basement to grab 2 guns & ammo on the wall & used Sunless Space & even melee when the little bit of ammo ran out, just to kill myself. Wasn’t expecting any of that. So cool.
My advice is On you first playthrough do all the faction quests and main quest. Then proceed to NG+ Then rush to NG+10 Then stay at that universe and do all the things you want there.
I wish the surroundings of say New Atlantis and personalities of main characters were different in NG+. For example, Sarah not so confident since Colony War due to PTSD or Cora had died and only Sam now.
I've been through the unity 11 times and I started to do the big missions on the first, like UC, which gave me the Sydef and crimson fleet and terrormorph missions, Freestar Ranger, which did give me the ship and a great scoped pistol that I use in every game, UC gave me flying skills that helps level up your pilot so your space battle with the Starborn isn't as bad, oh and the creds to buy the best weapons and meds to get through and kill the Starborn, which also helped me know what to expect later, I even got married and but I hated that I was losing the time I put in the relationship with Sam and as I kept working, I was going to lose it all, so I made the choice to just stop collecting creds, stolen ship and homes and do the rush through and then on my 11th, which I'm on now and is my last NG+, I started all the missions, factions and building and playing the way it should be played. I played, got my powers and finally I'm powerful and those missions that were harder in the beginning, were sooo much better because now I can freeze the room with phased time, use Sence star stuff which lets you see how many people are in the area, the void form which makes me more invisibile, and many more awesome powers and as you keep going up, those powers level up if you go and get them in each unity and you get stronger, so it's awesome by the time you get to the last Unity and then your ready to fully play the game.. 🥰 Btw, I went through 11 times, and only got 2 different constellation which was Vasco running constellation and then Walter running the constellation and that was pretty much all I got different when I stepped into the lodge. Maybe I should go a 12th time.. 😂
I just got the boots on the ground achievement for landing on 100 planets yesterday after only 1 hour into my new game plus I figured it was worth mentioning!
I could not play this game in it's current state so much as you did, the potencial is there, but I'm overwhelmed with isseus, bugs and glitches....Let's hope this game eventually becomes what it was aimed to be.
In my first NG+ Barret accompanied me to a Temple, went through the portal and he also got a super power. He chose Duplicate so he called his duplicate when we encountered trouble. The dialoge he came out with was great during combat was funny and well scripted imo. No other companion, so far, has went through the portal to get a super power tho'.
Im on NG+ 6 and as far as I can tell the ship looks slightly different as you progress but I havent observed any stat changes and to be fair the visual changes are quite subtle if at all. Anyone else notice this?
Correction. You said that you need to start over to visit every star on ng+, but that was not my experience. I tried to visit them all, but was 1 short and i spent hours trying to find the last star i needed for the achievement. I finally said screw it, ill start over in ng+. In ng+ the achievement unlocked after like 30 stars because i must have found the one i had missed in my first playthrough and my progress must have carried over
I've been holding off ng+, I honestly thought the story sucked a little, but I didn't know that the powers improved that many playthroughs. I'm level 68 on my first play.
Boots on the ground doesn’t reset on NG+. If I’m right it’s shared between your different Character Loads. Rushed a Character through all the way to NG+10. Then on my way through with a new character on NG+3 currently going through collecting all powers. Got Boots on the Ground achievement
agreed. You spent countless hours collecting things, upgrading your items, getting the best gear.. then you lose everything on purpose.. Makes no sense.
Played about 130 hours on first game. Had several decked out outposts, 10 ships, multiple of which were self built, had endless resources and millions of credits. Then I decided to NG+ and Poof! All gone lol. Oh well. Now I'm just powering through recollecting all the artifacts and finishing up until the last NG+ before I start over from scratch again. The new Suits looks cool but they still suck for overall defence when comparing it to advance left suit, helmet and jetpack. I'm currently on NG+ 6 I think, and my suit does 192 defence across the board. Which is just over the total defence of one Advanced/Superior Bounty Hunter Armor by itself.....Overall, not really worth the NG+ experience in my eyes.
@@juliusd.2541 I think it's actually better to take your time and then go into NG+ a few times if you want to power up some. This way you actually notice the NG+ differences more if you redo missions, or actually skipping the main quest line completely to. Once you reach a NG+ you feel good at you can then dive into other stuff, like outpost building, I didn't get deep into that for example. I like the NG+ mechanic because it does let you go crazy and then just do NG+ and start over.
The Starborn ship is not that useful. You can get a similar skill in the tech tree which allows your ship to become elusive with booster level 4. When you obtain that skill, all enemy ship lose the ability to target you when you engage boost, the only difference is, your ship doesn't go invisible, but the result is the same.
The only good thing is the Starborn armor. Besides that there's no point starting over with NG+. Maybe I'm wrong but why would someone start all over again and play the main quest storyline and loosing everything you had before.
im at level 98 and still at the very begining of the storyline, exploring, grinding, and figuring out how i want to go forward. That being said, im really excited to try out ng+ when the time is right.
Ng+ is not worth it unless you have done most of the content because stuff changes when you enter ng+.i did wish they added more to it like getting there and having one faction won the wars or even changed completely to another thing. Or having pirates dominating the whole planets heck even one where terramorphs actually made humans instinct.
The only thing I wanted was the Starborn Armor. Besides that there's no point starting all over again. Why start the main mission storyline again and having to collect items, weapons, materials, build an outpost when you had all of that before and now it's gone. I'd rather play another game.
That sounds like a good plan. I'm holding out to try to get the rest of my powers & artifacts and complete the missions. Then I think I'll take that advice thanks. 👍🏻
I'm at the verge of starting NG+ and I'm stuck without Life Forced and Supernova. (Yes I have all artefacts and I did Barrett's quest.) I posted this on reddit and apparently starting Barrett's quest might have bugged my save in the first place, a dude said that starting that quest DESPAWNED at least one of the two temples I was missing. Unlike him I made waaay too much progress to go back to an old save. Also IMPORTANT: collect all perk magazines before starting a NG+ because they stack!!!
Hopefully they will fix the Power from Beyond quests soon, it's rather annoying to see the Scanner Anomaly be a research station or something else(twice I might add, Sal also doesn't give quests) . Anyone know how to fix that without console commands, new game plus, or just starting a a new game?
Out of curiosity, are you playing on Xbox or PC? I've heard a lot of people talk about game-breaking bugs, haven't experienced any myself. A lot of crashes though.
@@HeroVibes On PC, stuck in dialogues with Walter, unable to fast travel. Some quests markers got stuck on objectives after completion, blocking progress. And the crimson fleet questline... 2 times the quest in the log just dissapeared, and one time just didn't progress. Don't get me wrong tho love the game, im just build for Bethesda games. Can't wait for the patches tho.
I'm on U2 now having gone through the unity the other day. Found though that the starborn guardian got outpaced very quickly by enemy bounty ships which I loved going for in U1. I've also found a superior space suit with 50 more ballistic, em and explosive resistance than the astra, and only 15 less on environmental resistances so I won't have that for much longer either. On another note I'm surprised they didn't put more mission options in, I got the freestar armistice code for instance telling her I'm starborn and know how this will end. But by that logic why can't I tell the council who is really behind it, so as to not spoil it for those not that far wink wink. And then I'd make it so that in one universe he was completely innocent and maybe she did it. There's so many variations they could do. Maybe a universe where Ikande and Delgado's roles are reversed for example.
Huge drawback is after you enter unity , your placed right after taking off from vectera in the story, even though you just passed through unity, landing on vectera Lin and Barret just act like they just saw you which is a bit of immersion breaking
I'm on NG+1 with all of the star abilities unlocked. If I chose to skip a few and not get them all to ability 2 then go to NG+2 can I get them all to ability level 3? Or will the ones I don't get then be upgraded to level 2? - Also to add to the fun it would be cool if they had a limited safe to store previous gear/guns on your Starborn ship and when you become NG+ whatever, you can then keep some items for the next play through.
If you tell Constellation you're Starborn at the beginning of NG+, can you still have romances? I would hate to play another play through without Andreja telling me how much she loves me all the time!
Haha, yeah you can if all the companions are still alive/around. If you skip the main story though, you do miss out on a couple of opportunities to impress them and build relationships though.
From an RP perspective, it’s impossible for my character to justify NG+. Maybe I’ve gone full parasocial for Andreja, but I don’t want to leave everything and everyone behind just because a bunch of murdering alien scum told me it’d be fun. I want to see everything the game has to offer, but it feels heartless.
I totally agree. Why they added that to an RPG is just stupid. I won't do it. I'll just stop playing the game if it comes to that. The alien ships don't even have rooms in them, just a bridge and that's it.
I got to NG+11 and literally got one different beginning sequence, It was where Cora Cole was older trying to hunt me down for the death of her father, it was a cool experience but other than that, I’m disappointed.
I loved this game but it feels wrong to be starborn for me. I genuinely don't feel right lol, I like the world I built in this game, built up my companionships, built my custom ship I love, got my rewards etc. Satisfied. Really great video by the way, helped me make my decision. I subscribed because you were the first youtuber I watched that talked about feeling weird about putting a plug. Oh and also the starborns talked like artifact drooling dipshits so I don't wanna end up like that
Idk if ill ever manage NG+ im big at collecting. And and exploring etc. To say I lose it all is just, ugh. Honestly id rather of rushed ng+ then started collecting. Oh well. Too late now. Does research unlocks stay unlocked? Like recipes from quests? Or have to redo them too
I really want to go straight to ng+ and experience all the quests from there because of the suit and ship,if I go to ng+ and try doing a side quest that i did not do on my first game will it have starborn dialog or not?
So... that depends on the characters you're speaking with. Pretty much every faction has a unique dialogue option at some point, but nothing that would dramatically change the story, so you should be fine. The main thing to watch out for is Constellation, as their whole story and arc can change randomly. You should be fine though, go for it!
I told Vlad I wouldnt let the Unity change who I am as a person (lawful good) but I think that my NG+ will start with the Fleet ASAP and eventually find my way back to lawful good. I havent done ryujin or the fleet because my first playthrough has been all relatively "good" moral choices. Perhaps NG+2 will be when my humanity snaps. Unsure how I want to RP this though. I didnt marry anyone because I find all of their constant babbling annoying. Sarah is obsessed with me and I've avoided the flirt option multiple times now 🙄. I wish I could change my traits so I could drop Extrovert, that was a mistake on my end but when I started it seemed like one I would enjoy. Why did the universe take Barrett and leave me with Sarah! I hadnt done anything with him before the hunter showed up, aside from what you do normally. He wasnt even part of my crew cause I didnt know how to add him yet, I was still learning 😢.
@HeroVibes thanks champ you explained it In the video but I must of nodded off on that part that's really cool they give you all this stuff to do just to carry over to a new game
A streamer that properly explains the NG+, спасибо! I spent 2 days gathering Intel on what to do with my playthrough finding answers I didn't even play the game for the 2 days 😂 every other streamer spends to much time crying over NG+ basing their opinion on a personal physiological connection. Plain and simply you did it & the only one explaining what happens if you skip or act dumb with NG+ at the lodge.
Really feel like you're overselling this quite hard... Getting stronger (in some ways) from ng+ is not rare... Alternate universes are rare as hell. I'm on ng8, and i tried reloading before the jump into a new plus over 50 times, and i got the same exact universe every time. The armor/ship are... alright.. nothing too special since the armor is all in 1 piece, so you only get 3 passives on it, instead of 9 for a normal set... and the ship gets outclassed pretty quickly. What it does give you... a couple of fun dialogue options... stronger powers(after 240 temple minigames that can go to hell). and unless my game is bugged, a 1% chance to get an alternate universe where stuff is actually different(seen plenty other people saying they never get an actual alternate universe either.. so yea) If they actually did any bug fixing (all the bugs i noticed on day 1 are still there), and my universe changes every NG+, i would be more lenient. so far, the NG+ stuff has been very unimpressive.
I'm on ng+ 6. My 6th play got the hunter in constalation .. n it glitched my inventory.. when I speed ran it .. I came back to 6th armor .. meaning I did not goto 7th ng+
I'm hesitant to try NG+ due to all of the bugs and broken quests in the game. Bethesda patched the credit crate glitches but I'm still missing the ship vendor in New Atlantis... priorities. The bugs will hopefully be patched eventually depending on how Bethesda prioritizes them which doesn't seem to be going well so far. Either that or it will be like a buggy version of the film inception. It's already bad code on top of bad code which will only make gameplay worse. It's like copying a VHS multiple times making the final copy useless.
The updates have patched quite a lot of them to be fair, but there are still a few. The only one I've experienced is in the mission where you need to find the electrical boxes in New Atlantis. Other than that, I'd say go ahead and start a NG+. Also, thank you for mentioning VHS's. I haven't seen anyone talk about them in years. My brother. 🙏
I'm curious - how many of you have reached NG+ so far? 🤔
@herovibes NG+10 - what you said at 1:12 is exactly why. If you want the best armor in the game, it’s comes at NG+10. @@mattalford3932 Sure are. By the time I leave the lodge first time I have over 25k in credits, too.
I’ll wait for the keep your ship, money, and outpost mod when NG+. Then I’ll NG+
Mine seems to be based on what I was wearing when I completed the game
Not sure about watching this. I stopped up until 5am to finally finish the One Giant Leap mission, after a 250 hour playthrough. After watching the credits roll, I find myself in a new ship, in a new Universe and I am Starborn. It's put me at the point in the game after having just left Barrett for the first time and I have the Frontier as one of my ships. Kept my skills, but nothing else.

Really what’s the bonus reward ??
A neural implant that allows you to manipulate and control NPC's. Though I haven't checked myself if it carries over or not.@@WildPlayerX
You get the manipulation skill when you finish the quest line
@@HellraiserMark666 not for finishing it but its part of one of the missions ;)
Which makes avoiding the last boss fight easier saving you 10 mins per run, it also levels the perk if you do the quest again
Maybe that new dlc - Shattered Space will introduce something like that
That sounds awesome! Can't say I've heard of that one but definitely sounds worthy of checking out!
I got a tear of joy in my eyes, when I noticed I cant even have templates of my hour long builded ship.
So brave!
It sucks, but Lord Bethesda may give us something like that in the DLC. 🙏
@@matty101yttam bolstering on any of your equips effectively closes the base stat gap, plus still give you 5 extra legendary effects vs starborn suit.
Best explanation I've heard so far. I'm playing Starfield and haven't gone in to ng+ yet.
Thank you, glad I could help! 🔥 Make sure you enjoy the game as much as possible beforehand. Good luck!
This makes me learn to not always mindlessly pick up items "saving it for later" EVERYTHING gets lost
For your first 4 NGs, always play the Ryujin Questline for a Free Manipulation Skill. Each NG+ adds a tier to it maxing it out by your 4th NG.
Exactly what I'm doing ATM. This game has a HUGE learning curve. 🙏
Same!
Thank you very much for this
Btw, A+ quality video. Great script, wonderful pacing, and you really chose your shots well.
This is one of the best compliments I've ever received. 🙏 Thank you!
If that's the case then it's not worth stay human
grinded all the NG+ benefits.
So cool.
You forgot about the magazines sir, they do STACK making melee stealth stupidly op.
My advice is
On you first playthrough do all the faction quests and main quest.
Then proceed to NG+
Then rush to NG+10
Then stay at that universe and do all the things you want there.
I wish the surroundings of say New Atlantis and personalities of main characters were different in NG+. For example, Sarah not so confident since Colony War due to PTSD or Cora had died and only Sam now.
Definitely agree with you there. Feels like we don't see enough character development with each of the companions...
Btw, I went through 11 times, and only got 2 different constellation which was Vasco running constellation and then Walter running the constellation and that was pretty much all I got different when I stepped into the lodge. Maybe I should go a 12th time.. 😂
I'm NG+13 and waiting for Shattered Space with my lovely Revenant. Let's level up some skills!
I loved that mission - Barret is such a underrated character. Great personality, particularly when compared to some of the others.
he is a a gay black man. i find him particullarly annoying@@HeroVibes
Having gotten every achievement in my first playthrough, i find it hard to enjoy everything again.
Damn, you made the most of the game so far! 🔥 Definitely keep that playthrough going for as long as possible.
@@HeroVibes I have, there isn't much left to find in the way of new dialog and definitely no more new missions or story
Love this game, put many hours. Try to level up all of my skills. Before I progress in the game.
Boots on the ground doesn’t reset on NG+. If I’m right it’s shared between your different Character Loads. Rushed a Character through all the way to NG+10. Then on my way through with a new character on NG+3 currently going through collecting all powers. Got Boots on the Ground achievement
As a collector and hoarder, this kind of NG+ is ABSOLUTELY NO. I will wait for mod which keep almost everything before start NG+.
agreed. You spent countless hours collecting things, upgrading your items, getting the best gear.. then you lose everything on purpose.. Makes no sense.
Very well made video dude! I definitely got lots to do before starting NG+
Thank you, brother. 🙏 You're gonna smash it! Keep up the grind!
I took my time and just went into NG+ after hitting lvl 60.
How do you feel about taking your time doing a lot of content and then going into NG+ versus deciding to go in sooner?
@@juliusd.2541 I think it's actually better to take your time and then go into NG+ a few times if you want to power up some. This way you actually notice the NG+ differences more if you redo missions, or actually skipping the main quest line completely to.
Once you reach a NG+ you feel good at you can then dive into other stuff, like outpost building, I didn't get deep into that for example. I like the NG+ mechanic because it does let you go crazy and then just do NG+ and start over.
Nice Thanos reference at the end there
Ahhh, I love it when you guys catch my little easter eggs. ❤️
Yes and it's also very weakly armed. The only good thing about it is how fast it can go, but that has limited utility in space combat.
Good to know about the tech skill. I really don’t like the idea of not having multiple habs in space travel or traveling without my companions.
The only good thing is the Starborn armor. Besides that there's no point starting over with NG+. Maybe I'm wrong but why would someone start all over again and play the main quest storyline and loosing everything you had before.
My progress towards visiting every system didn’t reset with my NG+. I unlocked it without visiting every system in my second playthrough
im at level 98 and still at the very begining of the storyline, exploring, grinding, and figuring out how i want to go forward.
I'd rather play another game.
tbf. the game would be 500gbs if that could happen so :D
Phased time X is like having invincibility
Permanent bullet time with Phased time X is the real perk of NG10
Man i gotta get to playing Starfield again. quit for a while right after hitting NG+
Same. 🙏 I'm waiting for the DLC, or at least a decent sized update that does more than fix bugs.
I’ve done ng bout 4 times now. Every time I enter lodge it’s exactly the same.
Reminds me of series - sliders lol.
Very useful video. Thanks 😊
You're more than welcome, enjoy Starfield! 😁🚀
Once i found out items dont tansfer i just sold everything and bought resources to unlock the research.
Wojld hav been nice if u could change traits on ng+
Hopefully they will fix the Power from Beyond quests soon, it's rather annoying to see the Scanner Anomaly be a research station or something else(twice I might add, Sal also doesn't give quests) . Anyone know how to fix that without console commands, new game plus, or just starting a a new game?
New Game+ would be nice if there weren't so many main quest breaking bugs, so I could reach it.
I got that trophy for just landing on 100 planets... over the two game plays
Still dont have it but saved the video
Thank you, brother! 🚀 Gotta let me know when you have it, I shall help you!
Huge drawback is after you enter unity , your placed right after taking off from vectera in the story, even though you just passed through unity, landing on vectera Lin and Barret just act like they just saw you which is a bit of immersion breaking
*NG+12 here:*
You *BEST* game is your *FIRST GAME.*
Your *SECOND BEST* game is your *LAST GAME*
(eveything else in between is meh)
How do you save both companions?
Can you still do side quest when starborn im quickly doing just the main quests then i will explore on my second game
I can’t find any companions from the main story I only have Sarah, vasco and adoring fan popped up but no Sam or Barrett or Andreja
Idk I might just do new game plus 10 times to get all max abilities and the max starborn ship and spacesuit and settle down after
I trigger only the normal seeds in NG and the Evil me are bugged, I cant save or use menus.
I'll new game plus when I have nothing else to do. Sorry but I'm pretty attached to my ship and other things. 😂
The alien ships don't even have rooms in them, just a bridge and that's it.
in one of my playthrough frontier kept all of my upgrades
Do the abilities on the armour change each ng+ or is it the same from the first ng+ with just better stats?
You don't loose progress for boots on the ground achievement starting NG+
I got to NG+11 and literally got one different beginning sequence, It was where Cora Cole was older trying to hunt me down for the death of her father, it was a cool experience but other than that, I’m disappointed.
No, exploration isn't reset, I hit a few systems in NG+ not all of them and got that achievement for going to all systems
1094 hours just going into ng+ 6 powers down, thanks to no temple marker bug
Dang I've done ng+ 4 times and haven't experienced any new universes
Took me 6 to find my first one - pretty uncommon. 🤔
How do you start a ng+
Complete the main story, then you'll go straight into it. :)
06:02 is this krieger from archer???
I like to explore planets in the game and don’t care to be all powerful. I don’t want to do game plus.
What it does give you... a couple of fun dialogue options... stronger powers(after 240 temple minigames that can go to hell). and unless my game is bugged, a 1% chance to get an alternate universe where stuff is actually different(seen plenty other people saying they never get an actual alternate universe either.. so yea)
If they actually did any bug fixing (all the bugs i noticed on day 1 are still there), and my universe changes every NG+, i would be more lenient. so far, the NG+ stuff has been very unimpressive.
I'm on ng+ 6. My 6th play got the hunter in constalation .. n it glitched my inventory.. when I speed ran it .. I came back to 6th armor .. meaning I did not goto 7th ng+
Can we redo quests like the Mantis quest in NG+ ?
Yes. NG+3 and i have this quest again
My brother. 🙏
@@HeroVibes I'm old!!! 🤣 I grew up watching VHS.
Sarah was in a rock band in my new game plus I’m like did she say this the first time lol
I have yet to experience a different new game plus, and Ive gone through the unity 6 times... I'm exhausted with this game
