I haven't watched a skate video in a long time, back 20 years ago skating was my life !!! Brought back a lot of memories watching you on that rail. Both of you are super smooth, nice clean style 👌 hats off
Currently on the Mesmer phase of my skate crisis. Started with Seba CJ, then USD Carbon, then Adapt. Some dollars later I’m realizing I like a raised heel, plastic shell with an intuition liner much better than a flat carbon boot. Trying Them 909 next because I can fit into a small shell which is 1.5 - 2 inches shorter than the Mesmer shell. Don’t think I could downsize the Mesmer unless the next smaller shell is only shorter and not more narrow.
@@stuco Thanks! I really want to love the Adapts. They look amazing. They’re super comfortable. I just don’t skate as well with them because of the lack of flex and the way the cuff is made.
Some guys that skate intuition liners use ski boot driers to solve moisture/odor problems. It’s like an electric heater thingy you stick your skates on
Great video! I believe I’ve seen on rollerblading rollerblading one time someone talking about boot dryers, peet dryer I guess … that’s a good idea to dry them. Keep it up ✊🏼
Just a tip for those who didn't find success with the stock liner and footbed... after heat molding Myfit SPCs along with Footprint Gamechangers insoles my Memsers now fit like my feet are being held by pillows.
@@HeadNtheClouds I haven't tried them skating yet, only sitting around my place in them or rolling a few feet here or there, so I'm not sure. I heard the Mesmer liner makes people sweaty, so I wouldn't be shocked given there aren't ventilated holes at all on the SPC. I hope that isn't a big issue.
A little epoxy under the cuffbolt before you screw it on and you won’t have to worry about it coming loose ever again. Little blade hack that I always do whenever I get new skates. Never fails
Love your content and hope I can get back to rails as good as you have at our advanced age LOL one suggestion for the video when you’re doing the trick session throw in some background music for us
Have you tried Fruit Tech hardware? They already have a set available for the Mesmers. But I agree, a general hardware upgrade is needed across the industry. It’s just dangerous. Thanks!
I’ve been meaning to get fruit tech for my aeons, but blue loctite seems to have helped. And I agree. Hardware coming loose in less than and hour of skating is not acceptable.
That back unity to true porn was beautiful! Side note, the THEM frame can hold 60mm wheels depending on the wheel profile, I rode Konjure 60mm in them just fine.
Great review! I loved it, especially cause I just ordered one! Good to know about the threadlocker and the screws coming loose. Very excited about the soul plate though, it´s exactly what I wanted to hear! Can´t wait to put my feet in mine! By the way, you guys destroyed that p-rail. Amazing skating, from both of you! Loved it! Thanks for making this review! Um abraço do Brasil!
@@iRollerboot Love the content, your channel is awesome! They are only coming in mid February, but sure! I´ll come back here and comment about em. Cheers!
I use Gear Halo pods in all of my skates. They take the moisture out and deal with any kind of funk. They use some sort of technology where you can recharge the pods when they get old. I swear by them now.
i didn't know, JAmes hetfield was a skater..."YEAH" "YEAH" "YEAH"...i was waiting for "MASTER! MASTER! where's those dreams that i've been after.." :-)
Pack some rice in a sock, pack it full and knot the sock. Place sock in the skate it will absorb all the moisture. Also a lot of people don’t know your skates won’t stink if you wear white socks. No colors at all. I promise you they will never get stinky.
@@okthisisthelasttimeipromise yea there is a lot of truth to the white socks. I only wear white socks. You have to check the cotton content though and make sure it’s the highest possible
I appreciate the review but this is exactly what I find lacking in almost every single review, the lack of skating the skates stock. It’s like “here’s a review of this new skate, I switched out the frame cause the stock ones were slow, changed out the wheels cause they were too big, switched out the liner cause it’s not what I normally use every day, also changed out the cuff cause it was too stiff… Now the skate is amazing” That’s like buying a stock Mustang then throwing a different sized motor in it, tranny, wheels, boosting it with Nos etc then doing a review of the car… lol problem is it’s now a totally different car than what you bought from the jump so no point reviewing it then because chances are if I buy the skate I’m not doing every single mod you do, and every single mod, drastically changes the feel of the skate overall. Great review and amazing skating, just wish more people would do stock reviews so we know exactly what’s out of the box. Shred on brothers!!!🤘🤘
I feel you Juano. Really, I understand and appreciate what you’re saying. Sam didn’t buy these skates specifically to review, but I thought some people would appreciate seeing what he’s done to the skates and his impressions. I agree though. For a true skate review, they should be stock long enough to get a solid impression before changing anything. Thank you for the comment.
Yeah unfortunately I had bought these purely to skate and not review. I have limited time to skate with family/work commitments etc and I’ve been skating for a while and I know what I like in terms of frames, wheels etc. so don’t want to spend this time struggling with things I know I won’t enjoy. The bearings and wheels were fantastic quality though and highly recommend them, the frame I do want to try at some point.
Idk why people don't like the look...they are the best of both worlds. They look almost as good as a classic frame with the wheel protection that doesn't look crazy like Oysi.
Fun fact about that set I got the soles do not screw to the boot they are frame mount like carbon soles and the cuffs don’t have the eyeball they say John bolino but have a Mesmer mold stamp on the inside and the plastic seems different as well I ordered some new cuffs already to compare and the ones it came with have more flex.
Great skating and very inspiring! But those lower third graphics and overall brand aesthetic…nope. I’m skilled in motion graphics/branding and open to help free of charge.
I feel like if your goal is to get rollerblading out there you should always try and make it look cool, nobody wants to see step up tricks with your arms flailing all over the place a nice steezed out top soul with your arms down by your side is a lot more appealing to the public (and most rollerbladers)
He's puts a lot of effort into his videos. To the average person any grind looks cool because landing on wheels is terrifying to them. The only people who are getting turned off by the things you mentioned are the guys who "used to do it in the 90s" but don't have any content of their own.
Dude I can watch Yall skate P rail for hours. Awesome video!

I’m here for you Daniel haha!
I am available for private functions 🤣

Just get a Razors SL and be done with it. All the fancy, hip new skates and brands don't hold a candle to a classic Razors boot
I always keep the silicon packs that come w practically everything and throw a few in my footwear after wearing.. nvr have a prob w it

Ah yes. I’ve seen those. ♥️🔥
This will keep your liners fresh for a long long time, highly recommend a boot dryer.
i use those, best investment ever, you can pick those up off amazon for $30
I agree. $30 on Amazon and now my skates don’t stink up the house. Lol

Oh yeah.

Ooo. Great to know Sean. Thanks for sharing.
@@iRollerboot the Gamechangers really helped bring the feel together inside. They're made of a similar foam to the SPC.
I couldn't deal with the stock liners, so I heat molded some Myfit SPCs and they fit nicely now. It's too bad since the tongue feels so good.
Glad you found something that worked for you sean.
How hot do your feet get in the SPCs? I had to send them back & got FatBoy, those breathe more & aren’t as tight around the toes.
Came here to see how the width fits. Learned that like most skates, it's too narrow for a regular foot.
I got Sway 57 and they fit comfortably, i'm very pleased. Cant wear anything narrow

Lots of yeahs! Lmao.

This is random, but I find Sam's accent interesting. A really unique mix of Scottish (I think?) and American accents.
I’ve seen a few comments saying the same thing lol.
Yup that’s right Scottish living in Texas for the last 16 years
