  • PO-35 Speak: Why Does it Only have 8 Punch-In Effects?!
    Recently, I heard someone complaining that the PO-35 only has 8 punch-in effects. While this is true, it's a bit misleading, because in addition to those 8 punch-in effects, it also has 8 different playback modes for your samples! These can also be adjusted and switched in real time, in the write or performance modes! Enjoy, and feel free to ask questions as always!

    Great to find out that I can modify the volume of each sample individually and even throughout a performance!

    Lmao, everytime someone uses one of these it always looks so foreign, like they just press buttons and all of a sudden you got music

      @@FreeBeat It's ironic, I recorded my own voice, Lol oh well you can always get the factory sounds. I amazed at the sound quality of the Tonic and Speak, I guess that would include the K.O. as well

      @@howardanderson3061 the speak and rock and morty are the same thing right? Just different skins/stock samples basically

      @@randovision8418 Yes it has the fun green R&M graphics and the preset samples are voices from show....other than that same regular Speak.

    There's so many parameters, I would give up some of Po33 punch-in fx in exchange of some Po35 features.

    • @FreeBeat
      @FreeBeat  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree! The scale/key signature feature would be incredible on the PO-33, as would a noise control!

    • @SaEvSampleEverything
      @SaEvSampleEverything 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@FreeBeat Hm, I don't struggle with noise. My receipt is to keep 50-70% input volume and add pass filters for each step before(or after) writing a pattern. Or maybe there's such feature in Po35 that I'm not aware of?

      If you want clean you need the KO i tried with speak and it always had a hissy airy layer no matter how good the original sample

      @@bikegarrett did you do the noise reduction

    • @FreeBeat
      @FreeBeat  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@bikegarrett After using the noise reduction on the PO-35, I find those samples to be much cleaner than the PO-33. Everyone's ear is different though!

    • @shmiqqy
      @shmiqqy 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@FreeBeat i think they might have it wrong because they focused on the source being clean when really it's got nothing to do with that, it's how the 35 processes it for synthesis and automatically applies noise
