I absolutely LOVE that you are not afraid/embarrassed to disclose actual numbers from your experiences! Like prices you charge or pay to enter shows. Even your sale totals! I have so many questions about this stuff that most channels leave you wondering. Your honesty is refreshing! Great work!
So generous of you to share the nuts n bolts of your business. 💗 Julie, YOU are adorable! I laughed when you said you thought your *life would be over* (been there, said that before) and then when you were explaining why you had said that about finding out about your last baby.. Any busy mom would SO understand. Your tongue n cheek humour is great!
You are amazing 👏 I would love to be able to walk into your outside kitchen and peruse all of your stuff. I would probably spend next month income. When you took us into your backyard I thought I was standing on the Tesh River, maybe not but that is what I was reminded of. Take care girl and stay safe.

Oh my goodness it is AMAZING! You would love it! I only live 45 miles away from it. Have you ever been? Maybe you can plan to come in Spring and I’ll go meet ya! YAYYYY That would be so much fun! It’s the Largest flea market type place. Google it! It will blow your mind!

Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge on not only making your different projects but also how to setup and work your craft shows. I started getting into crafting in my late sixties so I'm not sure how things will turn out but I'm going to try and enjoy whatever comes my way. Thank you again.

I used to pack my Dodge van the same way. My mom used to say "God forbid, you're ever in an accident, we'll have to bury the whole damn thing!" LOL!
Girl I wish I had just 10% of your energy!! Surely I must have way back when I was your age!! I only had one child and never seemed to find "me" time. Now that's all I have and still complaining lol. I hope I can find a partner in crime to go with me to the craft show Sat. If I don't get to go I hope you sell everything and come home with your car empty and your wallet full lol

I understand "my life will be over". I got pregnant with my 5th baby while I was running my scrapbook store. I had to give that up and sell from home. Once my kids were all a bit older and I acquired power tools from my dad, I started doing crafts and selling. I have only done 2 shows but both have been quite successful. Thankyou for the tips and advice I took notes for my next sale.
Great tips and ideas. I used to do shows and everything you mentioned is such a life saver at shows. Clear large price tags are so important. I have had many people walk by in the isles and be browsing along then see something they want and get their money out before they even enter my booth. Quick sales can be a real perk when things are crazy busy.
I have that same hat! And, it's always spot on when I'm wearing it.😁
I love wearing hats and more days I can go without washing my hair 🤣🤣

I too had a 4th baby when my others were already in elementary school! I know exactly how you felt, but I also know how much you and your family love and adore this baby. And, I might add, he’s now in his 30s, and helps us out when we need an extra pair of hands or technology advice!

Completely understand where you are coming from with your baby, I was told I wouldn't have any more children so it was a massive surprise to find out I was pregnant when our daughter was 15 ! It was a wonderful blessing but I had to re assess my life totally. She brings joy to our lives every day but wow a big surprise xxx
She continues to surprise us everyday 🤣🤣 just has to remove 47 cents out the Wii 🤦♀️

Always takes a while to get the hubby on board. Try and keep the mess to a minimum and finish projects. Show him the money, that always helps. They like to see the money

I have done 2 shows and they were fun. I was supposed to do one on the 19 but I am grossly under prepared, tired and I just moved from a small store front to my smaller shed and everything is out of control!!!

Best of luck with the show, you’ll do great! And don’t feel bad about that comment. My kids have an 8 year difference and, yes, life as you know it changes and some things get put n hold for some time. That’s the honest truth but we love our children nonetheless ❤️

I understood what you meant about the new baby. The summer I got pregnant with my 3rd child I had just gotten rid of everything baby at a yard sale. Literally everything. My husband thought we had enough kids then, boom! Prego! Haha

Same here. I would love to expand but can't keep up now. Yes, I make ladders using spindles, they easy. Maybe I'll do them on a thift to treasure video

Yes, if the baby actually sleeps. If she doesn't then I sleep till 6. But I'm usually sleeping for 9pm. I wish I was one of those people that only needed 4 hours.
I had my first 3 kids about 3 years apart..thought I was done..didn't have a baby on my hip..I could finally go hunting again..5 years passed and BOOM! Jesus was like here ya go..another one on the way! I completely understand where you are coming from..lol..no judgement from us that found themselves in that position!!

I actually bought all of my display pieces second hand from someone that wasn't doing shows anymore. Scored 2 bakers racks, the grid system and all the pieces to go with it for $200

Julie do you have a venders license and /or charge tax at the craft shows or need to have to get into shows?
It depends on what show you doing, some require more that others. I find the bigger shows require less than my small hometown shows. You take care of taxes after the show, they will give you paperwork

Love your huge price tags....what’s your secret on that print job? I have items placed high in my booth space and it always looks tacky on a index card for prices...great work!
I designed them on my computer and just printed them on cardstock. I might be able to upload to teespring for download, if that's something you interested in

You are so cute pregnant! I was a whale! 😂 we have a 10 year gap between baby and baby. So I get it! We started all over. So I have a 21, 19, 16 & 6 year old now at age 46. I do photography, and makeup 💄 tutorials and have kids with special needs I home school. 😅🤪 Crazy busy!
