Any skin tight fade with a beard, always go straight across (or slightly angled down towards the nose) from where the top of the ear meets the head. Then you can blend/ lighten up the top of the side burn
This is how I have my hair too, except I have a 1 right to the top with no fade, and the back of my hair is cut so it goes diagonally to one side. Looks awesome bro.
1:07 it's not about what's easiest for you, it's about what's most comfortable for the client. If my barber constantly moved my head around because it was "easier" for them I'd never go back.
