Sam, I think this is the most simple tunnel card I have ever seen. Thank you for sharing how to do it without the template. It looks much easier than having to cut all the pieces individually, scoring them then lining them up. Love, love, love it!!
Hello Sam, I have this box and when you were putting it together with all the greenery I realised that it will be perfect for my Great Nephew who loves dinosaur cards. I've made various ones for him but this will be the best ever!! No little toadstools or frogs though lol. x
So beautiful! Really love it. Thank you for sharing Sam! You really give a lot of options and explain everything. This is what I love about your tutorials. Very easy to follow and very informative.
I shared with my sister and she loved it too. We are going to use your idea to add to the lighted shadow box we bought to make a fairy scene. The leaves from above and all around, the toadstools/mushrooms and frog, etc. We are going to be cutting stuff from the Graphic 45 "Fairy" paper too and I bought some Spanish moss and small wooden toadstools. The items from Olga's dies will help make it awesome.
re: the CARD FACE … I L O V E your “doodling”! Another thing you might try is an embossing folder. This card would look good with embossing of vines and flowers. You mentioned a mermaid card? That one could feature seaweed and shells? Just a thought. PS: the sentiment on this card is spot on for a relative of mine. thx for the “reminder”!
Another fabulous card. I will keep it in mind for another time. I’m having back surgery on Thursday so won’t be crafting foe a couple of weeks. I will still be watching your wonderful tutorials. Thanks for sharing them.
SO Fun! :D Had forgotten about this style & want to explore making it. Thanks, too BTW, for making it a 6 X 6. I can't stand those smaller cards - they just don't FEEL like cards in your hand.. more like a present tag or something.
Oh this is exactly what I love! I like a frame too. I collected punches for foliage but they don't like card and are so bulky, Thank you, it's gorgeous. I love making background papers with a roller and inks too. I'm fascinated, how on earth do you store all the kit you have?!!I ingot my scoreboard today, made this in a template, though I used A4 to test it out, thus not quite 6 x 12" piece. I'd love this set but too much for me to subscribe, though I love just this box! I just used a circle aperture. I'm going to enjoy making these.
Its a pay monthly kit, this one was January's kit posted end of December and is no longer available. Craft Stash ship international and have a US store, just follow my link below the video to find out more about future boxes. 😀
love this tutorial Sam, can I ask what the die is called on the front page (the aperture shape die) please, I can't find anything like it and would love to try this card, many thanks x
