I have to say this is the funest card I've ever made, I have 2 made so far. I made my grandson with a forest background, middle a tent front a fishing pole with 2 little zombie kids...he likes the zombie looking people. Thank you again for this, it is the best card ever.
Oh Wow. I went straight to my craft-room and made the basic card without decoration so I had a visual sample. All your measurements and recommendations were spot on! Thank you so much for sharing your inspiration and pointing out all the pitfalls for us. Your original vintage card is beautiful but your modern take on it is perfect for all sorts of occasions. My grandson will be getting one for his fifth birthday at the end of the month. Brilliant tutorial.

To keep from "wasting" special cardstock, I'd cut a rectangle from the center of the holographic cardstock just smaller than the piece to go over the top. Then save the rectangle for another project. It also keeps from being so bulky.
A lovely project. Its the holographic card that makes it for me. I'm actually not that keen on the die set (don't kill me) I'm more of a llama girl. Such a fun card. I suppose you could also dangle the jellyfish etc. X
Very cool! I wondered, have you considered cutting _frames_ to use as borders when you use expensive or unique paper? It’s a shame to waste all of that holographic paper under the non-holographic water scene on the front..

There is another way to cut it you stick your die down with wasua tape flip it over use your bone folder but it has to be heavy duty like leather crafts you can not use the flimsy one as it will not work you do have to follow your die in any direction but you have take your time you might have to follow the line half way then you continue until it cut out you get vet clean cut

Beautiful card Sam, just visited your amazon store and can't find the dies with the mermaid in. There seems to be 2 under the sea sets both exactly the same the cost of one is quite a bit more than the other but neither have the mermaid in . Could you clarify please . Many thanks x
I know I probably missed it, but what size did you cut your binder strip? Also, when did you adhere in your 2nd acetate panel into card base. Did the acetate go on/under the panel? I know it's been awhile, but I have 5 family members who wants me to make your beautiful card. Could use some advice about this card. Hope to hear from you soon. Take care and keep creating!

It looks like it would be difficult to place and you didn’t show how you did that. Could you explain or maybe show it on another utube one day soon!? If I hadn’t seen this video, I probably would have place my pieces before sealing up all the edges!😬
