- This is such a life changing challenge!
I made this video on my phone using capcut. I'm hoping to improve the quality and the editing of these videos as time goes on.
Thanks so much for checking out the channel!
Nah youtube recommended this to me cuz my phone knows I’ve been trying to do the same. 😭 except I don’t use it for TH-cam, and the videos will never see the light of day. I’m just using it to learn how to speak clearly and eloquently and overcome my social anxiety. Thank you for sharing! This encouraged me to keep going. :)
Well done you!! I find it so good for social situations , it's strange how it works.
This got randomly recommended to me and totally worth it.
Same honestly
Glad you enjoyed!
This is dope. Great job Eilish!
Thank you Thomas!☺️
Congrats Eilish! You sound so confident. Your personality really shines though. I am currently doing a 10 Day TH-cam Shorts Challenge where I am talking to camera to build up my own confidence. Am on Day 4. Scary but I'm doing it.
I'm autistic, and social situations are very difficult for me. I might use this just to be more honest with myself, and help with my anxiety! ❤ Thank you for posting your journey on here! Much love!
Glad you took something from it☺️ let me know if it works or helps in any way. I've a good feeling it will 👍
This is amazing, nice change. Don't stop on it.
Good job, I had to do a lot of camera talking when I was in uni but i never got better at it, I know this was probably really hard to stick with at first.
I'm sure you're a lot better than you think! I'm still in my awkward phase😅
Thanks for sharing. Good to know we all look a little awkward in the beginning 😅
This has inspired me. Thank you for posting! Can't wait for what you've got in store (:
Thank you!! I can't wait to see what I have in store either lol (thinking cap is on)
Beginning cracked me up :')
Glad you enjoyed 😂I had my fun!
Nice editing! What did you use for it?
Thank you! I used capcut on my phone. This was the first video I edited on capcut but it's pretty easy and fun to use! 😊
Maybe this will help me get my voiceovers right first time instead of after 100 takes!
Randomly recommended but glad I watched
Thank you Josh☺️
You go, girl (or whatever you identify as
Do it! I've been videoing myself as much as I can since this video to keep the good habit 😅
Blessed by the algorithm once again 🙏
fix the title :D
Ooop thank you!
Good video and ery encouraging! If you think about, this should be part of school curriculum. At least it would be useful in this new age that we live in.
Good job! There were a few shots (days?) That the lighting was very good as well. One example is around 9:00 Nice warm accent in the back and a good cooler keylight from your left. I like that composition!
how long did you talk to the camera each time?
I tried to aim for about 30 minutes each time, less when I didn't have time!
Not gonna lie, I am probably going to copy you. This is a good idea.
Do it! It's so fun.
Good for you Eilish, fantastic video. It's a daunting process! Going through a similar process myself. Congrats on the huge leap forward. 👍
Thank you! I need to keep it up and upload more videos😁 hope you get a lot out of it!
This is really inspiring, you found a fairly convenient way to grow your social expression. You seem like a completely different person at the beginning than the end! Gotta try this!
It was either this or take acting classes lol. Go for it!
❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'm about to go through something similar to help my little company. I'm curious: Did you find the challenge helped you with your editing? What about the scenery of your backgrounds? (I'm super self-conscious about the latter in particular)
Also: It BAFFLES me that someone with that voice would be anxious about talking on the camera! I hate mine lel
(PS this is the account of the weird little company that I'm talking about)
Definitely, it took me a while to put this together from all the footage I had taken. I didn't really focus on the background that much only for a few videos, I was more focused on just talking to the camera. I think once you have some depth in your video and you're not right up against the wall (like I am in a lot of my videos lol) you can't go wrong!
I was in radio for years, but in front of camera is a TOTALLY different beast
This was delightful 🫶🏼
Thank you, glad you liked it!
