When sir said Q. 1 Answer 2 as weak argument I was shocked as it directly answer with reason but yes it is not logical as there is no direct connection of host to good team of host state. For example if Dubai would have host world Cup even it is not having football team then also it can do because Dubai is very good city

i have encountered these type of questions with options like : 1) if both are strong 2) if either (i) or (ii) is strong . This is very baffling, please care to share the way to tackle with these 2 options.
