Lovely bike! Hope you’re still enjoying it. Thought I recognised some of the roads, looks like you’re only round the corner from me. Ordered a V4S full from Preston to replace my V2S. Get it on Wednesday. Can’t wait!
I’m extremely envious! Planning to swing my leg over one at the London Excel show tomorrow 😊. Totally agree on the cruise control quick shifter thing as well. Enjoy 😎👍🏻👍🏻
Love my V2S, so it looks like the V4S next time👍enjoy they are brilliant bikes, handle like a dream and I used to be a GS fan boy. PS. Used to live in Chipping, the Forest was my backyard😀rural Northumberland now, yes I’m spoilt. Even better a new Ducati franchise is opening in the north east.
That's the best V4 Multi I've seen yet, not a fan of the looks normally, but that is very nice, might have to get One for myself, after having had 2 of the 1260s on my channel, plus the 1200s DVT 😁
I’ve got one there fantastic bikes such good fun , squeeze the front brake twice to disengage the hill hold manually .. 👍 enjoy the bike mate great great choice
Im a little jealous as I couldn't afford the FULL exhaust and decat. I have a few extras on mine. Carbon rear hugger, carbon chain guard, carbon heel guards, carbon heat shield, pike peak carbon beak. Tinted MRA screen and deflectors. I hope you love yours as much as I do mine. Im 3 years and 23000 miles in, and I'm off to Spain in two weeks. 😂
Hi Steve , how did you find the smoked screen extra protection etc. , was it the Ducati OEM touring screen with the letterbox in the same as the standard one you had?
No it doesn’t look smoked , there was an earlier comment advising yout to add a smoked touring screen , I'm sure you responded saying yours had a light smoke, in later videos they all look clear and standard size not the taller height touring item, was just unsure if you had fitted one and didn’t like it , thanks for reply 😊
Hi Steve can you tell me how you find the range you're getting from the Ducati ? I'm thinking of buying one put people are telling me it's very thirsty . Many thanks Gary.
It is very thirsty if you rag it. Taking it easy I get 40mpg +. Track days I get sub 30. Smiles per miles is the best ever. Expect 180 - 200 miles per tank, after that I'm due a stop anyway.
She is awesome. Had my first proper blast last Sunday, wait for the vid as an amazing rideout with pals. V fast!!!! We were smashing guys on thou sports bikes.:-)
put the tinted screen on but lose the fork socks, they make it look a bit slutty. The hard panniers are Touratech ducati branded, but they make smaller size hard boxes that i think might look a bit more executive, not a fan of the plastic cases. those handguards look good on that model, they seem to suit it for some reason, it's very stealthy looking, very nice

@@stevesherlockrides The 1260s and the V4 are completely different bikes, the 1260s being alot more sporty and fun (IMO) the V4 is great if your touring europe, but its not an everyday bike, its more like a GS. Don't get me wrong your bike is stunning
Hi Jake I get what you say. I've always ridden sports biased bikes. The v4s however if ridden calmly is ace butccan also come alive at higher revs. I'm not wedded to it but hoping the best

Congratulations.
Get the original touring screen from Ducati, had it on mine.
40 mm higher, and looks the same as the standard one.
Just ordered the smoked tourismo 2 I think it was called
@@stevesherlockrides Mine was 'light smoke'. Very nice, with decent visibility thorugh the screen.
Hi Steve , how did you find the smoked screen extra protection etc. , was it the Ducati OEM touring screen with the letterbox in the same as the standard one you had?
Mine is the standard clear screen. It's not smoked. Does it look smoked?

@martinnewman1967 I did investigate but couldn't find one
Ah , I see , there are so many choices out there , Ducati, Puig, WRS, Ducabike.
I'll see how I get on with standard 1st 😊😊 thanks.
I've just ordered a Pikes Peak that comes with a smoked screen. The lengths I go to to get a smoked screen hey 😆

Lucky for us in the UK
I had one of these out from Ducati Glasgow for a day.
Honestly? I thought it was shit.
Everyone to their own hey. That's why there is more than 1 bike on the market. Enjoy whatever you're riding pal
The 1260s is a better bike
