As a Utah fan I am excited to be in the Big XII. Really liked your video. It is very refreshing. I am trying to watch a lot of Big XII content to get the feel of the new conference. As far as Gundy vs Whittingham stats all of them are true. You do have to take into consideration that Utah does more with less. Utah has averaged about the 40-50 range in recruiting. Also the first three years after going into the PAC12 the team was playing with G5 Players. It took three years for Utah to get the depth they needed to compete in a P5 conference. Gundy came into a P5 conference team. As far as the actual stats they go like this.
Games played, Gundy 245. Whittingham 241 (Pac12 only played 5 games 2020 covid year).
Wins, Gundy 166, Whittingham 162. Loses both have 79.
Win %, Gundy .678, Whittingham .672 Bowl win/loss, Gundy 12/6, Whittingham 11/6 (Utah opted out of a bowl in 2020)
Utah has only missed 2 bowl games after joining the PAC12 and that was 2012 and 2013 the second and third years in the PAC12.
Gundy has 1 more 10 win season 1 more 11 win seasons and 2 12 win seasons Whittingham 0.
Utah has one 13-0 season under Whittingham in 2008 including the Sugar Bowl win over Alabama. I do acknowledge that the undefeated season did happen during the MTN West era.
So all the stats are true but it you look at percentages they are both very close. As for Whittingham getting all the Love, I believe it is because Utah came from a G5 to be one of the top contenders of the PAC12. I look forward to the coming season and Utah playing OK State. I think that it will be one the toughest games of the season. Thanks again and good luck.
I'm with on the g5 thing but he racked up a lot of wins at the g5. Gundy built osu in the big 12. 1 losing season.

I still don’t get what you are referring to. So that team down south of Utah beat some Pac12 teams. Did they win their Conference Championship game? Oh yeah, I remember now. They didn’t a have conference to win. They only thing they could rejoice in is beating Utah for the first time I 10 years. I’ll take a loss to them with a conference championship any year. Gotta look at the big picture not just winning one game. Pretty sad when that is all they have.
@Tobyoneal64 look I know your a fan. If a g5 team comes into the pac 12 and dismantles the conference champ. Does that mean it was a great thing utah won. No bowl wins. Utah goes 10 and 4. Yes ksu went 10 and 4 but. The beat the team that went to the national title game.

Utah has lost a lot of players, they didnt beat anyone lsat year. Ksu has lost alot of guys. Oline gone, 3 out of 4 de, 3 db, te ,short of recievers back up rb.
Utah has lost a lot of players but they have gotten the needed players through the transfer portal. As far as the O line Utah has the needed players on the roster to fill any position needed there. Picked up 2 D ends a TE also Brant Kuithe is back from injury at TE. Two receivers one a proven 1000 yards. Utah has 2 good running backs on the roster and also picked up 1000+ running back in the transfer portal. Gonna be just fine.
