cOncrete House, designed by PL.Architekci in Poznan, Poland, is a single-story residence built entirely from concrete for a family of four. Situated on a picturesque forested plot, the house aims to harmonize with its natural surroundings while requiring minimal maintenance. The building is divided into three distinct zones-day, night, and garage-connected by a spacious glass corridor to ensure connectivity and privacy. Concrete frames encase each section, providing both functional roofing and a visual link to the forest. The design incorporates organic roof shapes and large windows to blend the structure seamlessly with the landscape. The use of concrete and wood in the facade and interior furnishings blurs the lines between indoor and outdoor spaces, creating a unique integration of architecture and nature. Completed in 2022, this 499 square meter house reflects the expertise and dedication of its designers, resulting in a home that is both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional.
