They get fined. Depending on what the ejection was for I guess you could be suspended, but nothing else.
Most likely a suspension. Think of it like a highschool if you get suspended on the last day of school it carrys on to the next year.
They lose a paycheck and can’t put food on their table while umpires go back to their mansion
