The new 777s have so far proved to be very unreliable. They've conked out on more than one occasion. They should be scrapped, not the 507s and 508s, which should be allowed to run forever more.
The regular diagrams for the 507s and 508s need to be in use again, to prevent the last few being unfairly scrapped. Time someone raised an appeal to save them from oblivion. The days of the scrapyard have gone.

@philclarke3203 the 507s have only ever worked on merseyrail it was the 508s that started in london

Not sure. There are still 3 or 4 in use, on standby for when a 777 has failed.
