First VC video watch on a Sunday morning: as it should be! This week in Jan had some milestones over the years, for sure. Side 4 of 'Songs...Life' is so, so great. Paul Stanley and Robin Zander, and Dolly! Station To Station is one of my fav Bowie LPs. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, Doug! 😎🎶
@TheAuditoryVinyl Wait, what?! I'm pretty sure you signed a year-long contract for this weekly series. 🤔I really don't want to have to engage my attorney.
So many singles came off that Born In The USA album. Crazy things happen in Iowa. That is a great Stevie Wonder album. I have that Petula Clark album as well as quite a few of the others. Cheers.
I Wish is such a great track. Born in the USA was almost unstoppable. Great Bowie record, too. You might not believe it, but I have a copy of Saturday Night Fever.
Robin Zander didn't sound too bad? Well, after all, he is a professional singer. lol Wow you showed some all-time big-selling albums in this one - Born In The USA, The Wall, Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. I think Desire might be my favorite out of this week's records. I saw Larkin Poe singing with Ringo last week. I think they sang a song or two with him, and then they sang "I Wanna Be Your Man" without Ringo. Interesting choice. I guess Ringo sang it for The Beatles. Thanks for the rundown Doug!
When I was putting this together I thought the same thing. “ lots of big albums this week “ and as I write this I just realized I forgot background music!
Hey Doug. Some nostalgic records with those dates. Thank you for the video 😊
Thank you!! Go watching and commenting!
Some heavy hitters right out the gate…you made me want to immediately put on that Stevie album.
its a great album all the way through

Petula was a great singer. Some day I might do a top ten albums and that Stevie will be in it

I believe I’m sure you only bought because Yvonne elleman is on it
Hey Doug! I have quite a few of those. I have never owned 'SNF.'
I prefer the early BeeGees but I don’t mind the disco stuff the older I get
I want to go to Dolly Parton’s 80th birthday bash! I like Petula Clark, especially the French language albums. Desire is a top five Dylan for me.
I would think the who’s who in music will be at her party!
I'll have to return to Dollywood to celebrate Dolly Parton's 80th Birthday 🎂. I'm sure there will be a party at her amusement park in Tennessee.
I would think so! Probably a tv special
