- I decided to compare The Huntsman vs The Billy Boot vs Irish Setter because I converted my boots to the same sole as the Huntsman (Gro-Cord).

I live in the UK and am a avid sneaker head, ever since coming across your videos last year has spiked my interest in boots mainly red wing of which I now have six pairs and twelve pairs of boots all together not bad for starting mid 2019 anyway keep up the good work I look forward to you videos all the time your brother in Red wing Delroy
Hey Delroy,
Thank you for your support. Which six Red Wing's did you pick up?
I have four pairs of traction tread moc toes a pair of Sawmills olive mohave and my babies a pair of briar round toes from 2013 dead stock. It’s now time for the iron rangers Beckman and blacksmith.
@@delroyefemini6320 Yeah, you need to add a Blacksmith and a Ranger to the collection for sure. Very nice collection!
The Huntsman is definitely a little nicer looking and the difference on the Moc Toes are because the Billy Boots have a true Moc Toe when the Huntsman is just one piece of leather with a decorative stitching for the look of a Moc Toe. Oh and don’t forget that Ford did beat the Ferrari at “Le Mans” 3 years in a row 1966 / 1967 / 1968... lol great video
Yes! Great movie "Ford v. Ferrari" :)
A great comparison between the 3 boots. I’ve got the opportunity to purchase some red setters which look a better quality boot than the billy boot, thanks to your review 👌
Do a review on the black workwear pants! Or all of your selvedge pants
Big difference to me is the toe box: low profile and elegant on the Huntsman, high and boxy on the billy boot.
Idk if you were planning on reviewing that shirt but I think you should
Yeah, I was disappointed with the "cheaper" leather tongue for both the Huntsman and Billy boot. I now see why the Limited Edition 9874 Klondike leather is more desirable than the 8849 Prairie (but it is a suitable alternative) to the harder to find 9874.
I think the 8849 Prairie is a suitable alternative to the 9874. It will break-in must faster.
I’m very curious what do you do for work
Yeah, I'm not sure why they used the dyed-through black leather for the tongue. I guess because it's softer? And being a taller boot, more tongue to break in might be less comfy. I have no idea, that's really the only thing that comes to mind. Are they actually noticeably softer compared to the klondike tongues?
Oh yeah, the Black Harness tongue is much softer.
Wait... so red wing did 2 limited edition black Klondike 8 inch moc toes 4 years apart? Kinda unimaginative imo.
Where did you get the irish setter re-soled? Im about to copy you on that one. Lol Is it called grow cork?
The Billy's are the most comfortable boots i have
Sorry if this is out of the topic, but if you had to choose, would you choose a moc in oxblood or briar ? I am considering these two but can't decide which.. lol
Good question. The Moc Toes in Oxblood were done so well. I would choose the Oxblood.
@@CJCook thank you !
CJ, didnt catch the part about the sizing. If I am 11 in IR and Mocs, should I get 11 also for the Huntmans?
If you are an 11 in Moc Toes an 11 in Huntsman would fit.
All the things you mention about the billy boot make it a big MISS
