Hi, I love what you are saying, it feels like we need another part to listen to, but you’ve cut this short. Is there a part 2

I'm so glad to see your teachings from Calvary Chapel Chino Hills. Thank you Jim, I hope you'll answer my question
About Ivan Panin's work and the Magdalin Codeix, though I know it has nothing to do with this particular teaching. I've just been wanting your take on this as an add on to my chain of custody for a while now.
    Maranatha dear brother Jim 💖
    Thank you

My son broke down to me about a year ago and said he is bisexual. I still am struggling hard with it but I know he really is. As a Christian it was something I prayed I would never have to see him go through. He always asks me “why would God make me this way”? Or “why would God allow me to me this way”? I try and answer him the best I can but sometimes I feel hopeless. He was seeing a Christian counselor but didn’t want to go. So the doctor said it wasn’t gonna work because my son didn’t want to be there. But he did say that the fact my son is struggling with it shows he knows it’s wrong and is trying to not do it. I am hoping I can show him this and it helps him with his wondering of why God allows there to be evil. Thanks for your help.

I am sorry. but your son, just like any other sinner, MUST accept the fact that his sins have offended God, that if he refuses to come to the Lord on His terms, this is his destination, "do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? But in accordance with your hardness and your unrepentant heart you are storing up for yourself wrath for the Day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, Who will render to each one according to his deeds" Rom. 2:4-6
you must see him as the Bible sees him. JESUS is the only remedy for him or any other unrepentant sinner. "and that repentance for the forgiveness of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem."
      Luke 24:47
"testifying to Jews, and also to Greeks, repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ." Acts 20:21

God has all the power, all the goodness, all the knowledge 'by default'. He hasn't worked hard for it. It's like a 'free fund'.
He should also have given these qualities to us by default.

For evil committed by man: we are all God’s children. Why would a parent, any parent, choose one child over another? To stop, or prevent, evil actions would mean He would subvert the free will He’s given us.
For deadly natural events: My only explanation is that we are not in Eden any longer.

    • @n.holt7
      @n.holt7 4 ปีที่แล้ว

We are not all God's children.
In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
      1 John 3:10
Only those who receive Christ by faith become the sons of God.
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
      John 1:12
Keep in mind God is sovereign and can subvert man's freewill anytime He wants. He is not bound to obey our freewill. God does indeed allow for freewill but does intervene when He wants His Will to be done or can get His Will done through the freewill of people. Remember, however, that God does NOT work ALL things for the good of EVERYBODY, only those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
And we know that all things work together for good to ▶them that love God,◀ to ▶them who are the called according to his purpose.◀
      Romans 8:28

This is the perfect message to share with my family while my 6 year old niece battles brain cancer. I keep getting hit with the question "If God really exists...why would he let your niece get cancer at 2 yrs old and keep struggling with it?"
I understand stand about since and sickness being introduced into the world but being able to articulate that is quite difficult for me.

I don't disagree with what you said about evidence for God's existence, but the video doesn't directly address the problem of evil. You just say hang with me and the video ends, so it's 30 mins of not getting to the answer. Either retitle it something like Evidence for God's Existence or include the missing reasons why God would allow evil or how evil can't be observed without a standard to measure good vs evil. Just needs more info related to the title.

I want to personally thank you. Your channel popped up after watching your speech at a church 4 years ago proving Christianity is real. I was in the process of searching for the purpose of life. After 28 years of suffering, defeat, feeling unloved, and feeling worthless I decided tonight was the end. I had already done things that could and should have killed me and just said, “well if God wants me here he will keep me here if not then I will be dead.” I was tired of constantly trying just to be met with failure and despair. As a last effort to prove all the evidence that life was pointless wrong I started looking across the internet for a logical purpose for life. I wanted to leave knowing I did everything I could to validate that My life had value and I needed to stay. That video showed up and took my argument that Christianity was legit, which I was starting to doubt, and fortified it. Thank you very much! I feel a bit better now that I have found a logical approach to Christianity. I needed this reassurance that even if this experience we call life continues to be a shit show there is still the possibility of having true happiness and love at the end. So again, thank you man! Keep doing the Lords work and God bless!
