      2. No they do not. Chiefs have 3 of the top 10 most penalized players in the league, are bottom 5 in penalty yards differential (the amount of yards they lose compared to who they're playing), and are *very close* to being a top 10 most penalized team. This narrative that they just get away with things needs to end.
If you're talking about previous years, people keep confusing a previously well-disciplined teams as being "favored" by the refs. Yall don't have a scenario in which a team can just be disciplined so the only options you leave are: be penalized or ton, or Vegas is pulling strings. You see the flaw in that thinking, right??

I just feel like we haven’t seen enough from him to just say he can’t be elite , I think his draft pick is what’s really driving this narrative , cause if he was a top pick and performing how he is no one would be questioning or discrediting him , they’d be saying he’s a elite qb with an elite team as well

The QBs Nick puts as 'difference makers' are those that perform the 'out of structure' plays. I'm not sure within structure plays should be disregarded as much as Nick tends to. Plus, also, at least one or two of his 'middle ground' QBs have been playing solid out of structure plays this year (eg Brock). Where Nick sees Trevor in this, who knows? (well, we can probably guess) Like Brock, Trevor can pull off good plays out of structure when needed. Does Trevor do that as well as Purdy? (up for debate -probably not if you ask me) And Patrick's difference-making ability is very tied to the talent he has at the moment. Without Kelce, Patrick would be struggling badly. Does that make Kelce more valuable to KC than Patrick? (There's certainly an argument for that) Pretty much any quarterback's success will be tied to the talent they have around them (including the coaches), so I think this is a bit of a mute point that's being exaggerated by Nick to support his general feelings of favouritism. Patrick's a fun quarterback who can make a difference. But hey, so can a lot of quarterbacks with a strong coach and a few very talented players around them.

If every game were a track meet they would go 17-0. But this is FOOTBALL where physicality still matters especially down the final stretch. They get virtually no production anywhere else. Finally, I think losing MIke Gesicki at TE hurt their red zone scoring offense as most teams have a large body to throw to in tight windows.

Fins fan here and I have to speak the truth. Mcdaniel is nothing but a cute offensive coordinator and Tua slippity slide fall in clutch for the last 4 games is a product of him.. Mcdaniel cant see the detailed big picture to be a competent Head coach. This game was so weirdly bad I can believe it was rigged. Tyreek leaves and totally fkn collapse. Theres needs to be QC evaluation of Mcdaniels coaching. Big dawg talk

I'm with you. The Taylor Swift thing is BS, why? Because for example, the Ravens have the Kardashian Curse thanks to OBJ among other celebrity nonsense involving Patrick Queen this year, and their players and coaches haven't focused too much on that. The Chiefs need a reality check thrown at them in the offseason.

Come on, Mahomes has been on an elite NFL team his whole career so far. And it was already that before he became the starting QB. He's surrounded by future HOF guys. Let's wait to see how he does on a mediocre or bad team before we declare him a "difference make" who can win with a weak surrounding cast. Maybe he'll do great, but we don't know that yet.
