Great airplane for an AMAZING price. Worth MUCH more than this :) I really enjoy flying it. Lots of character, a beautiful model inside and out, and the HD sounds are simply brilliant ! .. We sure do need more quality turboprops in X-Plane. However, this aircraft does have some shortcomings. I find there is insufficient positive trim available, so I am having to manually hold the nose up until it picks up sufficient airspeed. This seems strange. Additionally, I find the failures menu option ambiguous - I cannot see if it is turned on or off - just seems to do nothing when you click it. When the failures ARE activated, the engines catch fire too readily. Finally - the documentation has room for improvement I feel. Still, overall it is a fantastic airplane, and an absolute BARGAIN :)

The failures menu text will turn dark grey when it is OFF and white when it is ON. It's hard to see and there is definitely room for improving this part of the special menu.
Can you please update so that it flys in xplane 11 Without problems then, so we can all enjoy it. IE it crashes out X-plane11 when you finish a flight and Quit out of X-plane or try to fly a new aircraft.
Thanks Q8. This looks and sounds amazing. Beautiful texture work and incredible sounds. Maybe one day I will be finished with my Spitfire career in IL-2 and can head back to my XP11 hangar and learn to fly the EMB-110. So great to see such quality in XP11.
Pretty good. When I flew them (more than 30 years ago) we always started with the prop levers forward. We didn't want exhaust to overheat the windows which could occur when the plane was stationary and the props in feather.

One can see by looking at the instruments that this is an exceptional AC. You're right about the price it's very reasonable for the quality. It seems as though developers are getting better at coding for XP 11. For a turboprop it's a very cool plane I didn't realize it until I heard engines start up. Good review as always my friend and keep it up. I have started to try different AC based on your reviews and you've gotten me to try some AC that I wouldn't buy, i've learned there is a lot of fun out there. Take care

Great review, as always. I really appreciate all of your videos. Just purchased this aircraft and had some start up issues (engine fire) so needed to look at your startup again to see what I may have done wrong.
Just purchased this aircraft running version V3.2 PLEASE note that when the aircraft loads, the (Failures) menu in the cockpit is in an ON setting from startup IE it is highlighted and should be in an OFF greyed out setting. Also when loading a new aircraft or quitting X-Plane a software crash occurs. I hope this is of help.

On my initial takeoff, I managed to torch both engines. Definitely need to finesse the throttles. Also, your Arlington scenery looks absolutely amazing! Are you using any ground texture enhancements?

Nicely looking aircraft, but, I am having trouble though with it interfacing with my Saitek instruments/panels and the GPS working at all, some trim and V/S issues, etc. The product list in XP.ORG does mention the Laminar GNS430/530. Very frustrating. Overall I will probably not fly this very much. Have to look into the issues I am having, though all my other aircraft work well with my cockpit setup.

Turn indicator is wrong on ground taxi. Should be turning right skidding left, AI erect wings level (nice catch when you realised it was caged). Your turn indicator was indicating a turn opposite the direction of turn and basically not skidding at all.

Excellent video, as usual! For some reason I couldn't figure out where the NWS toggle is on this plane (it doesn't seem to be shown in the manual except for the mention in the checklists). Since it's kind of important, thanks for that tip. Also, I've encountered the same inverter / generator interplay as you did when following the checklist, not sure if it's the checklist that's wrong or the plane. Nevertheless, a brilliant plane!

Okay this may be a crazy question, but how do I get the entire panel to illuminate during night time flying. I cant seem to figure it out, I can get one small lamp on and outlines but cant see any of my gauges.
It is a very sophisticated aircraft in terms of systems simulation. I will avoid the term "Study level" in the future because it seems to mean different things to different people. I will tell you that it is incredibly fun aircraft to fly and you will not regret having it in your XP hanger.

This plane have PT6 Engines and to my knowledge this engines should be ignition with properells max position and mixture full rich (like in DHC 6 Twin Otter with the same engines) What do You think? @@JetfighterPL to be honest, you never start a Turbine Engine with "Mixture Full Rich" because doing so can "HOT START" the engine and melt the core. Also there is no such thing as mixture levers in a Turboprop but rather condition levers (www.skybrary.aero/index.php/Condition_Lever). There is no way to lean a Turbine Engine but you select "LOW IDLE" on ground to get a lower speed of the Turbines and make Taxiing easier and "HIGH IDLE" during flight. Here is a video from a real E110 and how it is started see how to watch the NG% gauge to see that they got enough speed in the engine (this is to ensure that there is proper airflow through the engine so that it will be able to ignite properly and cool it self) th-cam.com/video/BVy2kOCyk3w/w-d-xo.html. The DHC6 from RWDesigns seems to have issues with engine starting hence all videos you see of this Aircraft in XP11 will be "HOT STARTED" (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hot_start)

With respect to you Sir, this is not, in my opinion, a minor issue, especially when one is paying for an aircraft addon that is not in Beta. It may be a great aircraft and fun to fly, as you put it, but if there are issues with pitch on auto-pilot then you can't deny that an issues needs sorting out and fixed. You also mention that a real-world EMB pilot was consulted in the making, I doubt he would be pleased with these issues either.
I like the aeroplane but there was no need for them to include the sexist trolley dolly image. That's just unnecessary and shows what sort of men they are.

I do not have a twin turboprop in my hangar, but from this review I am convinced it is the best one in X-Plane 11, so Indefinitely will buy it.

Unfortunately there nothing we can do about it. It is the Anti-Aliasing. I have mine set to max,

The manuals have some errors, but not too major. I had to figure out the NWS toggle myself. It is in the user guide somewhere.
Indeed, the documentation is very good, I must have missed it despite scanning it multiple times.

Thanks buddy, no I don't edit the speed at all and don't use any video after effects. My favorite GA for X-Plane is the AirfoilsLabs Cessna 172.

Hello sir, Can you tell me since you are using xvision now did you delete that beautiful light.text file or is still enabled?
Go to the shaders tab and untick the lights option. This way you retain your file.

It is probably very close to the SAAB 340 with the SAAB having a slight edge. With this said, the price of the SAAB is $49.95 this one is $29.95.

You could be right I am not sure. Turbo props are a bit different. But I tell you flying this bird is an absolute joy.
