    Rusty... I've been following you for a few months. You are so very knowledgeable about jewelry that I prefer watching you than most of these women who have huge channels. I appreciate ya!!

    Hello Cuz, so happy to hear you’re in Asheville because I live in Hickory just down the interstate from you. I’m 74 and of course retired, and I thought about getting into this business part time just for a little extra money you have given me so much valuable information, I’ve collected loads and loads and loads of jewelry and plan to get started on it soon. Thanks again for all your advice.

    I love how you describe the items you show and how you explain how to determine what they are and what they are made of as well. Very helpful.

    Thank you so much, Rusty, for all the highly informative detail in your videos. They are excellent!!! I've learned more in about 45 minutes of watching your videos than in watching any other similar videos. I can now make sense of some of the things I see in the local thrift stores in a way no one else has helped me to do.

    Hey Rusty, I came upon your videos and have been binge watching since. I have a small Ebay store and I was not sure how to source or what to look for. Your videos are very educational and I appreciate your time making them.

    The Rosenstein piece is a fur clip and I don't believe has real emeralds. I believe they are just emerald colored rhinestones

    An antique dealer told me a couple years ago that it isn't illegal to sell ivory it IS illegal to buy it! 😮 (not talking about selling on ebay)

    the heart necklace with the colored stones were given to mothrs with their children's birthstones like ruby colored stone when ne for child born in july.. the clear diamond would be april etc .. my mom had a ring I was going to add my youngest brothers stone to her ring but she died

    The necklace with the heart and stones. I believe that it is a birthstone pendent. Given to a Mom with birthstone of each of child. So, probably hard to sell?

    Hi Rusty ! Do you have a place we can ask about jewelry? I have several pair of vintage faux cameo earrings that appear to set in Copper or the like . No marks . Also , I THINK the cameos MAY be lucite ??

    So if there is a hole behind the stone it could be a real stone? If it looks like your red one with no holes to let light in, it's a fake stone? Is this correct?
    Doesn't Chanel use wire to connect their pearls? I think I read that somewhere. I need to start making notes. I love pearls and I think they are real. Let us know when you know for sure.

    • @RustyTheReseller
      @RustyTheReseller  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Pearls are cool but aren't in style as much right now like in years past. settings with prongs and with an open back are indications that what you have is of higher value typically.

  • @darlaballenger2357

    How and where do you sale things? I put a few low bids on Jewelry and today I won only 1 but I think I may have a few things. I missed the rings I lost and I'm sure there was 7 good one in it. I need to learn how to sale things.

      We sell at local antique stores, on Facebook marketplace, at auctions. Other private avenues, and on line platforms like eBay
