After UFC it's very refreshing to hear commentators actually commentate. No dick riding on one side, busting a nut every time someone throws a faint, or scream OHHH for no reason.

Du Plessis has so much heart he always gets hit hard with one power shot every fight that seems to make him find a survival next level, high performance 5th gear and just step on the accelerater, it's like a a switch goes on and the Nitros is engaged, especially because he is momentarily wounded and just fights with everything he's got with such excitement and raw talent forcing everybody to see the champion he is. I love this guy my favourite fighter I know he's going to to be remembered as one of the greats.

Big difference in technique in the knock out sequence. Dricus throws his left hook with minimal wind up, straight from his stance. Soldic loads up heavy and drops his left hand befote throwing. Dricus lands first and then evades the left hook from Soldic. Even though Dricus looks awkward when fighting, his punching form is solid and tight
Kid he didn’t land first he got landed on first the fuck are you talking about ? 😂 he had a better chin and there was nothing tight about that hook you have literally no idea what you’re talking about if you think driscus has more polished striking then soldic, it’s not tight , it’s extended exaggerated, yea he brings his idle hand back up to his chin but his guard only works till the point where he lifts his chin up to to ceiling and he does it in every exchange his pulls his chin up and it’s terrible habit that he has it’s good that he recognizes that he does it enough to know to keep that idle hand glued to his chin , paddy pimblett does the same thing but without bringing any guard up at all so the first time he fights somebody who can actually crack he’s going to get folded ..so no dricus is not technical sound what so ever in aspect , not one part of his technique is smooth or mechanically correct he doesn’t turn his hips over his back foot drifts it doesn’t stay planted , he doesn’t have the hip dexterity to step up into that lead leg calf kick he has to literally run to get enough momentum to be able to snap his leg out which is honestly as low level as it gets I think they land because people do not expect someone to need to gain that much momentum to just snap out a lead leg calf kick it’s like the technique is so bad that it almost makes it good , so yeah in no way is dricus better in any aspect of striking in a technical sense , he’s just heavy handed , durable . And so much stronger then the dudes he’s fighting and people don’t seem to underhand just how much brute strength at a freak level can still just get you a belt around your waist

American commentator seems biased af against DDP
1:42 Not rocked at all. He took a horrible misstep and fell, but nothing lands anywhere except on the guard and shoulders.
Slow the footage down and u will se that robocops fist hits him in the temple. You can also see dricus’s head snap backwards.
@@tonyespinoza3891 Yeah that punch lands but he doesn't drop to that. He's still clearly up and trying to get away from the fence. It's all the punches after that completely miss, exactly when you slow it down to frame by frame.
Every punch after the left hook:
Left straight misses as Dricus changles levels to get away from the cage.
Soldic tries to follow with another left hook but misses and pulls the right hand down instead.
Right hook hits shoulder.
Left hook goes wide and forearm lands on guard, pushes him off balance.
Right straight falls short.
Left straight misses as his head is being pulled down by Dricus, who is completely off balance.

He's added muscle since. Muscle dehydrates and rehydrates more effectively than every other tissue. You can put on 15 pounds of muscle and a weight cut of 205-185 as opposed to 190-170 with less muscle will be significantly easier.
