Man decided to big balls the endfight. Big W Crazy how doing lots of LASO evolves from "scary shots from miles away" into "I can fight this whole wave like the devs intended" That final brute was actually scary though
Dude that last brute was actually so troll, i was sweating lol I think you would appreciate how the strats evolved into what it is here. I don't do the rocket truck launch to save 1 rocket for the end fight then while in the end fight. There are only 4 rockets that you can possibly get without losing time. Then in the end fight I use all 4 rockets specifically on the the grunt and shield jackals cause they run away up and off to the sides + shield jackals are the most annoying enemies to kill time wise then I just try to deal with the middle spawn as best as I can. An interesting thing that I realized also is I played on season 3 down patch cause I wanted to get rid of the sliding brutes however I realized that grunts and jackals were dying to my rockets in 1 shot (I'm not sure what 343 changed but also on the 360 OG version of the game LASO works like this. 343 must have nerfed the effects of tilt or buffed mythic in later patches cause they thought ODST LASO was a bit too easy or something) I knew that hunters died in 1 laser shot on this patch but didn't realize until now that rockets are really effective on grunt and jackals on season 3. Also the brute I kill in the banshee only takes 12 shots to kill instead of 17. There honestly isn't may other places rockets are that useful in the rest of the game so this ended up working out perfectly. I am thinking maybe I could improve the coastal end fight a bit with this new info but I'm in the process of labbing it out. Anyways I know you are a LASO enjoyer so I thought you would enjoy the thought process and new info about the down patching. This now means that the sub 1:20 LASO full game is no longer a meme 👀
