Thank you for your easy to understand and follow content. Just one question: What does the 'Stay' button actually do? The manuals online are quite difficult to follow! I was hoping I could set up the lights and notifications on one mode, the lights and siren and notifications on another mode, and then everything off on the last but... there are other ways to have it make sense which work, like
- Arming the road one with no lights and siren but still getting notifications so I know who is loitering, without having to endlessly scroll through the NVR via chrome/edge etc.
- Being ready to arm the front door and carport light and siren with the flick of a switch is going to be something else - if it works, I suppose I have to test it with just the lights first XD

Thanks for the tutorial, but how about to connect the NVR with AX Pro ? Let's say when Live-Guard triggers camera alarm to also to trigger the AX Pro alarm, and how to use the keyfob from AX Pro to activate the Live-Guard?

Any tips on turret camera (for that pan option) that can potentially detect number plate even at night on a quiet street that has a street light? Or do I need to result to special ANPR bullet and also add a turret for pan? (was hoping to avoid 2 camera cost). Thanks.

Great videos and really thorough. Just wondering if you have any idea why my system (8ch I Series with 8mp acusense) configured line by line from your tutorial seems to cancel out the flashing strob and alarm as soon as my phone app receives the notification alert Normally about 3-5 seconds. I have tried extending the light on time, alarm timing as well and nothing seems to change, as soon as my phone dings with the alert the light goes off and the alarm or sound finishes its loop and stops. I have also wondered if possibly one device is cancelling out the other? Camera triggers and then moments after the nvr triggers? It's a strange one.

Hi mate, I have a question. I'm looking at getting the Accusense Gen 2 cameras for my property and the appropriate NVR. Can I arm and disarm the cameras as a standalone system or do I have to get an AX Pro Alarm Panel?

I have the acusense cameras gen2 and I followed your guidance about setting up the live-guard, but...my Hik-connect doesn't give me an option to arm/disarm areas. I can only turn on/off notifications. To have this option on app do I need to have linked AX PRO?

I had my camera firmware updated first, because I couldn't even see the notification bell. Then I had the same problem as you. Turns out I had to install the Hikvision LiveGuard firmware specifically for the NVR, which is listed here www.hikvision.com/au-en/solutions/solutions-by-function/Live-Guard/ and is also listed as Live Guard firmware on the NVR product webpage (entirely separately from the regular downloads > firmware list area).
