Hi, The app NOW features Arm, Arm Silent, Disarm. Can we set the schedule to 24H for alarm/light but then use the app to disarm silent which triggers the VCA send an alert to the app but doesn't trigger the Light/arm. So in theory the VCA is active 247 but then through the app you can decide when you want the liveguard camera to be flash/play audio? Could you do a short video on this new feature. Like you mentioned during the day you could have the light/audio off but still receive intrusion detection notification? Then arm which means now the alarm/light is on
great video, thank you for your good work ! I have a question, it may be a stupid one, this camera is not colorVu but a DarkFighter, so why the night footage is not in black & white ? or is the ambient lighting enough to keep colored image ?
Hi, thanks for video but could you let me know what firmware version ae you using on the NVR and what model NVR? I bought 6 DS-2CD2T46G1-4I/SL cameras and very annoyingly, they have discontinued the camera and not provided firmware updates for years. I have a iDS-7716NXI-14/16S(B) and they have a one year old update being v4.40. Can I get a newer update from any other portal apart from UK or wil that mess things up?
Do you think the live guard functionality will be added to other Hikvision NVRs aside the I-Series units. I’m using an Acusense NVR together with the cameras featured in this video and currently disarming the deterrence features is not possible.
If I wanted to set this up to go to a monitoring station, would it be the camera or the NVR that sends an alarm. So in the linkage action of the camera, do you duplicate it to what ever alarm input on the NVR. Maybe I am getting confused. Is there a video explaining how a camera send an alarm to monitoring station, instead through an alarm panel, the PIR triggering in the input on back of the NVR. Thanks
to add this to the monitoring station , depending on the platform used , most use Immix / Sentinel / Bold etc, you would add the backend device like the NVR / DVR , and under the email settings of the NVR you would add the email details for the ARC platform , then under the smart event section of the NVR and each camera the linkage action would be “ send email “ , and that is how it commuinicates to the ARC , what platform are they using do you know?
Hi DVS. I have a DS-7716NI-I4 / 16P(B) NVR with Gen 2 Acusense Cameras. I don’t seem to have the one touch Live Guard function on my Hikconnect app. Is my I Series NVR compatible? Can this function be added to my system? Thanks

Yes similar function as the Turbo live guard system correct but that can’t talk live to the camera currently via the App whereas the IP solution you can

This camera can work full functionality in DS-7608NI-K1 and DS-7608NI-Q1

we don’t sell the Q version in the UK so cant comment but is supported on the K series

Yes that , there is enough background light to keep the colour image 😊

Id like to know this too? Running the same NVR with Gen 2 cameras. Im Uk based and cant see the live guard option. What NVR firmware should I be on?
have you updated both the app and firmware on the NVR ?
Yep updated the APP, NVR and Cameras to the latest versions but still no livegaurd functions
