You looked amazing in your Willow dress!
Thank you Nancy 🥰
The Willow dress looks gorgeous on you xx
Thanks Angela 💕
Viscose twill for trousers or Minerva have some lovely cotton twill with a slight stretch and they make fab trousers x
Great recommendations, thank you Sarah 💕
The baby jumper is so cute, teeny tiny! I have a pair of elastic waist, wide leg cotton seersucker trousers for the summer in plain navy. They pass as smart and are so cool in the heat. I also have super wide leg culottes that look like a skirt but comfier and less risk when there's a of gust of wind! They're in a viscose linen. Fingers crossed the house is done by the end of April! X
Oh I love that suggestion! And if I start making summer-y clothes it might trick the sun in to showing itself 🙏🏻😂
You looked amazing
Thank you 💕
Well, you’ve definitely sold the Willow dress to me. After everything you said, I want one now! The dress looked gorgeous on you and I can understand why you want more. The Strawberry sweatshirt looks so cute and I adore the fabric you chose.
Thanks Marion. Picking out fabrics for childrenswear is always fun! I am a big Willow fan now 💕
Beautifully done❤
Thanks Karol 💕
Lovely willow dress. I love sand washed cotton for casual summer pants. For dressier trousers I use a cotton linen blend.
Lovely suggestion, thank you 💕
Hi Sarah your dress is gorgeous. Fingers n toes crossed for your house being finished. Gosh you really are busy n still lots going on. 🙏💜❤️💙
Thanks Sarah - hopefully we will be back home soon 💕
That Willow dress looks amazing. So pleased to hear you love it- it’s one of the next projects on my list to make and I have the pattern ready to cut out. Super excited for it now 🤩
That's great to hear Helen, can't wait to hear how you get on with it!
I purchased the Willow from your suggestion, yours is lovely! Perhaps a viscose twill or a ramie fabric for some lighter weight trousers?
I don't know much about ramie, I'll have to take a look, but Viscose twill sounds like a good suggestion! Enjoy the Willow 💕
Hi Sarah. Love your dress, just thought I'd say that Jenny Stitches has some suiting that is cotton, might be good for your trousers. 😀
Ooo thanks will take a look x
Your Willow dress is gorgeous on you. I can see why you want more. So admire your baby sewing. I feel guilty that I haven’t made anything for my 7 month old grandson but it all seems so fiddly. Maybe when he is older 🤔. Happy sewing and fabric shopping ( you know you will😂😂). 😊 Lynne
Making stretch items is the only way for little ones I think. They grow so quickly that I just can't face making anything else 😂
Ooh love your Willow dress xx
Thanks Caron 💕
Bamboo Blended Twill Fabric for trousers.
Great suggestion, thank you!
Cotton twill for trousers?
I like a Colton Linen blend for trousers. Your willow dress is lovely Sarah!
Great suggestion, thank you!
