Iron Maiden Has One of the best drummers ever, one of the best bass players ever, one of the best lead vocals ever, and then you have 3 guitarist who could play lead guitar in any rock band. They are great writers. And to top it off, the unity makes them even better. Been a fan since i was a kid. Seen them several times and they always give you their max.
Rime of the ancient mariner live from flight666 DVD is the most epic performance ever(for me🎉)
💯
1985 long beach. Released on live after death album is imo better
@@iainblack7549 love long beach arena concert, epic for music industry and history. But I find bruce lazy on that recording. he doesnt hit that notes, omits the crucial moments in vocals. Yet a great showmanship. I watched it from VHS video casette in 90s for the first time and loved it. still prefer Flight666 version
"The Rime of the Ancian Mariner".... You need that but you don't know
Great reaction. A small list which you should checkout
1. Rime of the Ancient Mariner
2. Alexander the Great
3. Revelations
4. Empire of the Cloud
They are still active releasing albums and touring. Their latest album is Senjutsu !!! Up the Irons 🤘🏻
cant forget powerslave, flight of icarus, aces high.. and so many others.
Wasted Years, Ghost of the Navigator, The Clansman, Can I Play With Madness, The Evil That Men Do... And much more
@@terrydavis7389yeaah
Sign Of The Cross, Brave New World, Murders In The Rue Morgue...
Rime Of The Ancient Mariner, especially from Flight 666 tour is a must. In particular for the theatrical and storytelling aspect of Maiden, as well as musicianship.
you have to remember that this was filmed in Chile, where they do not speak english as a primary language, but the crowd still knew all the songs.
Yeah fun way to learn english with Iron Maiden :D
and even if we dont know them we spanglish them
To whom who may not know :
Hamlet : "There are more things in heaven and Earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy".
Dickinson quoted this from Shakespeare since the lyrics goes around a similar idea.
Paschendale live is perhaps the best performance and song by Iron Maiden. Rime was my favorite since I was a teen, but that song, that set... it's pure magic.
Oh, that little sweet song.
The red and the black and Alexander the great live are my top 2 live experiences.
Paschendale-yes please!
Yep! I've recommended it to her a few times already since her first Sabaton reaction when she was talking about how much she likes history.
OMG - yes yes yes to Paschendale from Death On The Road - pretty please with Irons on top. (Rime Of The Ancient Mariner -Flight 666 & The Red And The Black - Book Of Souls Live Chapter are close 2-3 to that)
You could never go wrong with Iron Maiden Never they're so Legend ary One of The Best Bands of All Tiime if Not The Best Group In History
'When the wild wind blows" from En Vivo, not a very popular suggestion but i has great storytelling and music
Underrated gem...
As a Maiden fan of 42 years I’m really enjoying sharing in your Maiden journey! Please see them live this year as you suggested you might!
It's good to see a new Maiden follower, UP The Irons 🤘 welcome to the club.
I did not understand in my youth how good they are.
@@corneliusantonius3108 as long as you understand now...
@@corneliusantonius3108I did! 😅
Iron Maiden never disappoint. Really worth to see in live concert. I have seen them 3 times. Cool reaction Stacey. Up the Irons!
Ok guys I think she is ready for Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner.....live from Flight 666. Have the lyrics ready so you can follow the story
bruce is phenomenal
Thanks Stacey. I have been waiting for you to finally react to this one and you did not disappoint. So glad you enjoyed the performance. Welcome to the Maiden family. We've been waiting for you. UP THE IRONS
One of my favorite live performances from Maiden. Happy you found it so early on in your Maiden journey! Seeing that you appreciate these live performances, maybe go check out "Rime of the Ancient Mariner" Flight 666 version. Pull up lyrics as well to keep up with the storytelling on this one and by the way, the footage of the jet flying at the beginning of the video, that is Maiden's private Jet "Ed Force One" and Bruce is flying it in that video. ;)
You got it right girl,Maiden is infections!!It's very nice seeing you have so much fun watching them perform!Next one HAS to be 'The Rime of the ancient Mariner'!It is such a masterpiece! Storytelling at it's finest!UP THE IRONS! 🤘
Bruce is a world class fencer and joins in with many contests whilst touring throughout the USA and other countries. He is a pilot and flys the band’s plane. Strict diet and exercise before he gets on stage. Best wishes Richard
The Clansman - Iron Maiden live in Rock in Rio 01'. the Best performance!!
Indeed, this is my favorite performance
FREEDOM!! 🤘🏼
Oh Gosh... it is like I'm seeing an angel listening to one of my favorite bands 😄
I'm glad you finally discovered iron maiden. What took you so long😂😂😂. I've been a fan since 1988.
Maiden’s signature ; lots of great epic emotional strong melodies, great transitions, superb songwriting, and dynamics. Beauty, emotions, drama, energy, power, dynamics, vigor all at once well blended mostly
Maiden always take you on a journey, their shows are always great - a lot of their songs give you so much energy too, feel ready to run a marathon after listening to them 😂!
The loneliness of the long distance runner Gav?? :)
I just recently discovered your channel and I have to say it's so refreshing to see a young person enjoying and actually appreciating music that I heard when it was brand new. If you do make a mistake or have a blooper along the way it's no big deal. Shrug it off and enjoy the journey because it's as new to you as it was for us so many years ago.
Great reaction!!! Hard to describe the joy at being in the crowd at an Iron Maiden concerts. I have been very fortunate in seeing them 16 times, the most recent was last September in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada with my two adult sons, daughter in -law and multiple friends. The fans are singing along to each song. If you have a chance, see them on there next leg of in 2024. Enjoy and Up the Irons!!!
Thank you for tuning in, my friend! You can locate my contact details above😊
I'm glad to know that you loved this song and performance! I was blessed with the chance to attend this concert. It was recorded in the biggest stadium in my country, Chile, with a crowd of about 60.000 people attending (not a festival, but an Iron Maiden concert). The crowd here in South America is by far the best in the World, and that's the reason why so many bands have recorded Live DVDs here, specially in Chile, Argentina and Brasil.
It's probably because Iron Maiden are so busy plus all of his other personal ventures but how Bruce hasn't appeared on The West End or Broadway in some kind of musical theatre is beyond me. Iron Maiden live is basically music theater anyway i suppose lol
Great reaction. You can never go wrong with Iron Maiden live. They are as fun to watch now as they were when they started. Their longevity is proof that it is not work if you love what you do.
Blue oyster cult "godzilla " has a great guitar riff .a must for classic rock lovers
I love seeing your joy when expeiriencing Iron Maiden, I found them in'80, they have been the soundtrack of my life...
Thank-you for enjoying them with me....well done😁😁
I like the version of "Blood Brothers" from the exact same concert.
Recommendation:
"Brighter Than A Thousand Suns" live at Abbey Road Studios, they are really crushin' it there, and I am loving the whole "A Matter Of Life And Death" record.
Blood brothers always hits me right in the feels, but is not an oft requested song. Any person on this planet who has "a brother from another mother" NEEDS to hear it! I can only assume it would be the same for a "sister from another mother" in terms of impact, but I lack the biology to make that statement with confidence!! Stacy, if you are looking for a song not often reacted to, but unquestionably epic in the "later" (LOL!!) days of Maiden, do yourself a favor and at least listen to it!!
well im 52 and have been hooked on Maiden for over 40 years have seen then to date 33 times here in the UK they are the best live band on the planet in my opinion and yes i am bias. best Album for me is Somewhere in time with Stranger in a Strange Land my fave tune.
Incredible. The only word to describe them! They still have this energy now, and this concert was filmed over 12 years ago! Definitely need to check out Rime of the Ancient Mariner (Live 2008 Flight 666). Brilliant story, and probably their most epic song. I’m so glad I’ve caught you early on this journey. Love the enthusiasm you have for Maiden!
I was there!! I was there!!... the years pass but it´s unforgettable the feel and the energy of the band
The biggest thing about iron maiden, they don't play for the accolades of their piers. They play for their fans, thats the difference between them and other groups. And that's why they are still playing today for the next generation of fans to love the music 🎵 they products.
One of my favourites bands of all time. Long live Metal!!!!
UP THE IRONS!!!🤘😎🤘
Considering that Bruce has been through cancer, and had two hip replacements, it's incredible to see him still showing that kind of energy today. He's singing as well as ever, too.
Bruce puts out the same nuclear-level of energy for every minute of every concert. Angus Young is the same way: constant energy!
I saw them on this tour in 2011 in Warsaw and they played Dance of Death. Great show!
Biggest underground band in the world!!
Had the pleasure of watching them live. The crowd went (understandably) wild with this song (...and others).
Maiden were a Non-Stop entity in the background of about a thousand Dungeons & dragons, pendragon, call of cthulhu, and other tabletop role-playing games of my youth. They were simply the definitive background music as well as stuff we would be listening to throughout non-gaming sessions of just hanging out. I am humbled that my love for Iron Maiden has never led me astray, they have gotten better with age and still continue to tour the world to audiences the range from children to the elderly in age and all social and political Dynamics etc etc. They are just a brilliant brilliant band
Thank you for your beautiful and spot-on reaction. I love their transitions, their strong instrumentals and the happiness they spread.
Rime Of The Ancient Mariner next please. Although there are dozens of great songs by them. 😊👍
Iron Maiden is one of my big favorite bands, I did collect almost everything from them.
'Dance of Death' is one of the newer Iron Maiden songs from 2003 (The album 'Dance of Death') ... The band's newer songs have been more progressive and epic (The song is 8+ minutes in length) compared to their past, shorter songs like "Can I play with madness" ... "Stranger in a strange land" ... 'Run to the hills'... etc.
Iron Maiden have had epic songs from way back - 'Phantom of the Opera'... 'Rime of the Ancient Mariner' ... 'Alexander the Great'... etc. But their latest album 'Senjutsu', for example... is full of songs past 7 minutes in length.
They still do write shorter songs, like - 'Stratego' ... 'Days of future past'... 'Speed of light'.
But their classic songs are still considered their best - 'The number of the beast' ... 'The Trooper' ... 'Wasted years' ... 'The evil that men do' ... 'From here to eternity' 🤘🤘🔥🔥
It was so nice to be able to see them live back in their younger days
Thank you for tuning in, my friend! You can locate my contact details above
Told you it was amazing, sooooo glad you reacted too it ❤
Chile! Best Metal Crowd of the World! UP The Irons!!!
it's more marvelous see you enjoyng the song than the song itself :)
He, He, He, The dance of Death!
There are many inspirations indeed! A lot of "songs" in one. Their musical knoledge is deep.
YES! I was really wanted you to see this one. If you want a band that has INSASE crowd energy, check out Blind Guardian-The Bard Song/Valhalla live from Wacken 2016. It's mid-evilish power metal and a must if you love fantasy RPG games.
Your Reactions are Great, Very Genuine..., Welcome To The Maiden Family!!!, Unique, Powerful, Charming Band.......
The Maiden family is never ending!! There is no expiry date on brilliant storytelling, ask Shakespear, or go back even further!!
There's good, there's great, there's legendary, then Iron Maiden....God level status.... incredible stories, musicianship, their art, their logo, their global following.....
Thank you for tuning in, my friend! You can locate my contact details above
I suggest you check out two legendary bands: The Who and Rainbow. Although older than Iron Maiden, they helped pave the way for harder rock. The Who broke new ground in the 1960s with their energetic live shows and a willingness to push boundaries. Their timeless classics, such as "Won't Get Fooled Again" and "Baba O'Riley," are worth a listen. On the other hand, Rainbow started in the 1970s, with Ronnie James Dio's powerful vocals on albums like Rising and Long Live Rock 'n' Roll. Their blend of melodic rock and guitar mastery could appeal to you. If you want to discover more seminal rock acts, try one or both bands.
This is a particularly "classic" rock song, because it is built -- melodically, progressively, and thematically -- on the medieval traditional lament song "Scarborough Faire." They have taken it into the modern hard rock era and added some serious gothic flair, of course, and one can only applaud them for making such an evolution.
A very cool cover/translation of this song was done by The Harp Twins, which put it back a bit towards its medieval origins. It plays well either way.
Esta canción es bella, poderosa y con mucho nervio. Y esa sonrisa con el brillo de mil estrellas tuya aún la hace mejor.....
Iron Maiden - The Red And The Black (The Book Of Souls: Live Chapter) !!! you will love it !!!
"Iron Maiden is one of the best story telling bands in the world!"
The best musical storytellers, up the irons❤
Pretty much every Maiden song is a story. Its why we love them.
IRON MAIDEN IS AND ALWAYS BE IRON MAIDEN!!!
Big thank you for discovering Rammstein, even at my age its great to find new music. Love the channel keep up the great reactions. Thanks again.❤🎉😊
You do realize we're talking about Iron Maiden in this comment section... Right?
This is my #2 song from Maiden after Running Free, so good & emotional..
Up the Irons.
Iron Maiden is by far the best live band I’ve ever seen
Also really like the clansman from rock in rio
This song is like, one of those ghost stories I like to listening to on Halloween 🎃👻
Love these reactions your giving you just get what maiden fans are so in love with
Bruce Dickison, CAME back, he lost "half of his tungue", because of Thoat Cancer. But he sounded, like he never left "Iron Maiden"!
Love maiden musically one of the best up the irons, glad to be here.
you should 100% check out "Iron Maiden - The Clansman - Rock In Rio"
Bruce was an Olympic standard fencer.
Not necessarily my favorite song, but probably my favorite performance by them. The whole band just shows off.
Thank you for tuning in, my friend! You can locate my contact details above
My favorite live, Rock N Rio - Blood Brothers, Ghost of Navigator and Nomad.
Dance of Death is one of my absolute favorites, been listening to it for years and have yet to get bored.
The entire "Dance of Death" album is great, actually. "Rainmaker" and "No More Lies" are probably my favorites after "Dance of Death".
I know that others also really like Paschendale.
Maidens Rock in Rio is an excellent source of epic live songs. Prolly 300,000 peeps there
250 000
Great reaction again!!! Loved the passion. 🤘🏼🎸🔥🎤🤪🥁🤘🏼
Great reaction, Stacey. Now I definitely think you should check out the song "Rime of The Ancient Mariner" from Iron Maiden.

Thank you for tuning in, my friend! You can locate my contact details above
for crazy crowd, take a look at AD CD live in River Plate ;).
Iron Maiden is a giant family y Chile es su casa
Iron Maiden is doing a north america tour this fall. I've never been super into their music, but I got tickets because it's something I need to experience while I can.
Next on the MUST see list is Iron Maiden - The Clansman (live at rock in rio '01)
A couple of thoughts....
Bruce was probably going for a costume change.
As you said, they are still touring, go see them! I'm going in November to see them for the first time. I've been a fan for 40 years and the "stars have never aligned" enough for me to make it to one of their shows...I am SO PUMPED!!!!!
You may like Dream Theater, check them out. I would suggest, as a starting point, "Under a Glass Moon" live from Toyko, Japan, in 1993.
You may also like Jethro Tull. I would suggest "Aqualung" or "Locomotive Breath" as a starting point.
Lastly, please take this as a compliment, it's meant that way: You are a very beautiful and insightful woman and though you may not be a musician, you have a really good ear for music.
Rock on! 🤘✌
They were great here as always, saw them in 3 different decades, the musical level stayed the same as a great, classic band that never does a bad show. Maiden fans are very invested in them and are as god a fan base as any out there. Do any song in these comments from them and I guarantee it is a banger. Enjoy, beautiful lady! 🎵🎸🎤🎸🎶
To me the "Dance of the Dead" volume is a return to 'Killers'..also an Homage to Paul di'Anno and Clive Burr...Rest in Power.
Bruce Dickenson at age 65 has more energy than I did at age 21. I am super jealous.
I want to see Iron Maiden live in Vegas in Oct
You need to go to a concert and see them live.!
Have to do The Clansman! One of the best live performances ever!
Yo Stacey don't forget to check Iron Maiden's music from their Somewhere In Time album, you will love that too!
One more great and beautiful reaction! 👏👏 Beautiful as you and your voice!
Unfortunately, this was reacting to this song.
Don't get me wrong, surely I think their performance in this video is amazing - as usual! - but perhaps I'm the only huge Maiden's fan who doesn't like "Dance of death" so much, for I believe Maiden's got many songs way better than this one.
And yes, we're passionate fans, mostly here in South America - and we, brazilian fans, are even more passionate than people from Chile, where this concert took place.
When I come home from a Maiden's concert, I get out of voice for some 2 days.
And if you like their storytelling and transitions so much, then you're gonna love these ones: "Rime of the ancient mariner" (based on a poem); "Alexander the great"; "The flight of Icarus"; "Stranger in a strange land"; "Infinite dreams"; "The writing on the wall" (this one, from the latest album - "Senjutsu" - 2021 - I recommend the official music video - the animated version).
Nice Maiden's journey for you and, as we use to say, "up the irons"!
iron maiden is one of the best bands of all time in south America particularly they are beyond popular they are a religion there most folks travel hundreds of miles just to see this band live a lot of the song writing is done by Steve Harris ( the bass player )
some songs:
wasted years
aces high
trooper
the wicker man
ghost of the navigator
You haven't even seen EDDIE yet. Wait to you see EDDIE come on stage and sword fight with Bruce. "Up the IRONS!"
I know this is for my much loved Maiden, but sooner or later you will get to Type O Negative and if you love Bass, there is nothing like Peter Steele playing an ACTUAL Bass For "Black No 1" or "Christian Woman" (All of "bloody Kisses" is just GOLD.) Steve may be the superior player (ok, no maybe) But the impact of seeing a almost 7 foot all Peter Steele with that voice!! You will die and go to Goth heaven!! Even the Cure have not a patch on Type O, and I LOVE the cure as well
Rime of the ancient mariner is their best story ever... the live version from Live after Death concert is the best!
if You want chills from the crowd, try and Find "Blind Guardian - The Bard´s Song / Valhalla" live in Wacken...
i was there as almost every year, but that performance was unrivaled magic....
This is the closest thing to opera that metal can give us. 🤘
And you _are_ correct... they are the MASTERS of transition.
P.S. Although, to be fair, you _HAVE_ to check out Black Sabbath where that's concerned.
TRUST ME.
P.S. Fun Fact: They play soccer in their down time to stay physically fit.... haha, yeah.
