  • When I was younger I read a book on card tricks. But in 2020, I can only remember how to preform one of the tricks. Basically, you ask a person to pick a card from the deck and remember what it is. They place it back in the deck. Then, when you unfurl the cards along a flat surface, their card is magically facing up, while the rest of the cards are facing down. It’s easy to learn, but it’s actually a pretty impressive trick for someone who doesn’t know how it’s done. I was always captivated by the way legit magicians handle cards, so I wanted to learn a new way of shuffling to make the preamble to my rudimentary trick look more remarkable, more showman like.

That was so cool to watch, because it was the same situation that happened with me! I have no domain of playing cards and I was able to learn it in one day during the quarantine. First, I started training my grabbing and my thumb pressure passing the cards, one hand at a time. Within a few minutes, I was able to make a split and joining the cards perfectly. The bridge is a little bit complicated but with a little bit of effort you can discover the best hand positioning to do so. I felt fulfilled that day. Thank you for this video!

Hi Bruno, thanks for the comment. Well done learning it in one day. It normally takes me a few practise sessions to learn new skills. Are you going to learn any new card trick in the future? The next card trick I will learn is the card spring flourish.
